On 4/25, we said goodbye to our best buddy. Toby boy gave us 13 years wonderful years that we can’t forget. Yet, it still doesn’t feel like it was enough time. I didn’t think losing him would be this hard…but, I’m so glad he’s at peace. He was loved by so many and I thank all who helped take care of Toby while we were out of town and made him to feel right at home. Tobes gave us his best and trust me, we gave him ours.

Scene: St. Pancras Church July 1, 2017- London, England. The second most transformative and transitional trips of my life. (Kenya 2011 being the first).

Just landed my first job out of college. My first day was July 3. “I’m excited to work for you but I just need to delay my start date. I’ll be on an international tour with a musical group.” Thankfully they obliged

We did this song and many others all over the UK. We had no business singing like this just days before the World Choir Games Competition in Wales. St. Pancras was a TIME! …(there’s one more modulation but IG wouldn’t let me be great so the last clip is omitted.) Prior to this trip, we also sang it in the presence of @smallrich at Takoma Park SDA on Spring Tour I believe…

Scene: April 29, 2014. Aeolians, Richard Smallwood, and Angela Brown Alumni Weekend Concert. A time was had! Does any have any videos???

Aeo fam, I pray you are all well.

Scene: March 2012. Oakwood University Moran Hall. Dynamic Praise “Tenors will meet outside for sectionals for Total Praise” I’m thinking: “Sectionals for Total Praise? Give me a break…. Who doesn’t know Total Praise.” To my surprise @its1bean had other plans… iykyk. DP 25th Anniversary concert…. May post later.

These just 3 of many “Smallwood moments”. Even before he broke Atlanta in 1996 at The Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, @smallrich tunes became etched as Gospel Standards…

Richard Smallwood will truly be missed. by @eyezick

Gloriam Deo dabo Doc!

He should have written “George” instead of “Greg” here.. 🤣 But that’s a story for another day… Fare thee well Doc!
