Meet Me – Emi, Your Intuitive Henna Artist

✨My Henna Journey: I picked up a henna cone when I was 10 and never put it down! Five years ago, I started making my own fresh, natural henna paste, ensuring every design is crafted with intention and love.

🌿 Holistic Living: I’m a certified Ayurvedic wellness counselor, and I’m currently working toward my life coaching certification. Wellness, balance, and mindful living are at the heart of everything I do.

🧘‍♀️ Empowerment & Mindfulness: During high school (which I was homeschooled for), I led girls’ empowerment classes for three years, teaching mindfulness and yoga—practices that continue to inspire my work today.

🌱 Plant-Based Foodie: I love experimenting in the kitchen and cooking nourishing, plant-based meals full of flavor and creativity.

🏕️ Outdoor Enthusiast: Give me camping, hiking, and all things nature! Being outdoors recharges my soul.

🎥 Creative Spirit: I’m currently learning videography to capture moments and stories in a whole new way.

🤎 Grateful for My Henna Mentors: @misshennamarie & @prairie_henna_julie have been the most influential in my journey, and I’m so thankful for their wisdom and support.
I have also recently started taking classes with @Catherinelentdesign and I've been learning SO much, I can't wait to implement that knowledge into henna work!

☕ Where to Find Me: I do henna sessions at my favorite cozy coffee shop in downtown Plainfield—it’s the perfect place to relax, sip on something delicious, and enjoy an intentional henna experience.

New here? Hey, I'm Emi! I'm a local henna artist based in Plainfield, IL. I've been practicing henna since I was 10 years old and create all of my henna paste from scratch using natural ingredients.
My goal is simple: create a relaxing experience where you can slow down, sip your coffee, and leave with beautiful body art you'll enjoy for weeks.
Whether you're treating yourself, celebrating something special, or just want to make an ordinary day feel a little more beautiful, I'd love to create something for you. by @eyitsemi
