she has been one of my quieter ones. I got her from @rootedrarities back in february 2024, shared her maybe twice. & recently got updates on how the ones I shared with my friend Xavier is doing and honestly it made my whole day. there’s something about knowing a plant you loved is being loved somewhere else.
but then she pushed this and i had to stop and stare for a while.

This Hoya occultata gave me a full heart attack when I accidentally dry rotted her, but I was able to reroot and move her to PON, and look at her now! 🌟
I’ve switched most of my thin-leaf hoyas to PON after seeing how successful @nurturedrootsgreenhouse was with it, and honestly? Best decision. If you’d told me two years ago I’d have this many hoyas living in rocks, I would have laughed in your face. LOL 😂
She lives in my kitchen at ambient temp with zero grow lights, and lately I’ve been feeding her yummy @growqueen fertilizer & she’s thriving 🌿💛

I’ve had a few minaras come through my hands and I’ll be honest… this one is the clear winner 💖

Grew this bb from a cutting I got from @kawaiicrops and she has just been thriving. Shes officially my favorite lacunosa. 🤍

also I have to give credit where it’s due. i was inspired by the one and only @minhty.leaf for shooting in front of flowers. I literally asked her permission first because i respect the vision. 👑

The leaves started to upsize significantly after being repotted in a bigger pot, and she no longer fit in my milsbo wide cabinet so she got moved to my dining room 😳 her next 2 leaves were beat up a little, but this last one appears to be finally acclimated 😭🌱

one year with this girl and i’m still not over her 🌿✨

if you were here for the unboxing reel, you know how excited I was to open that box. Hoya sp. Aceh ‘Ladia Galaska’ from @a_lil_foliage 🤍 an inner variegated mutation from the collection of @northaustinplantco
I knew from day one i could not mess this up, she dropped one leaf early on, and i genuinely thought i was going to pass out. ☠️☠️☠️ but she’s still here, still stunning, still making me stare at her like an idiot. the variegation somehow keeps getting more dramatic and i am so grateful she’s in my care 🤍

Happy 1 year anniversary in my care haha

There was a recent post on Facebook asking how everyone trellises their Hoyas, and honestly there are sooo many ways to showcase them. You can even just let them trail! What usually influences the way you guys trellis your Hoyas? 🌿

Hoya sp. Phu Yen ‘splash’, growing on a spiral trellis I made. 💝

@snowsplantpals surprised me with a Hoya corymbosa cutting, and I was able to root her in a Fluval/perlite mix in a warm prop box with a lid.
She’s sooo rooted!!!! & I’m super excited! Now pray I don’t murder this one too 😂 Haha

✨ Hoya obscura ‘Cryptic Chrome’ (CML-09-21-A) and she’s been on quite the journey in my care.

The first leaves on this cutting were long and narrow. Now she’s settled into something much more compact and round with the cutest purple sunstress, but I moved her to lower light and honestly? I think she’s thriving in her soft era.

Grabbed her from my Hoya dealer @rohsleafyaddiction who got it from @leaves.impression 🤍

Hoya wayetii ‘Tricolor’ from @nurturedrootsgreenhouse has been getting absolutely blasted and said thank you with this candy-coated glow up.💓🍬
The pink, creamy center, and dark edges combo is just unreal right now.🤤🤤🤤 Easily one of my favorite variegated Hoyas

Hoya callistophylla ‘Chibi’ in bloom 🤍
Those tiny porcelain flowers and the juiciest little round leaves… I could stare at this hoya forever. She gets bright light and dries out between waterings. She’s definitely been overfed a few times, but she kept her round leaves! They just grew bigger lol 😅

Got this as a cutting from @lol_hoya less than a year ago. 💝 thanks @rohsleafyaddiction for helping me find this bb.
