So honored to meet @therealdocblock at @plantcon.intl in Orlando this weekend. His presentation has taught me a lot, and it's the second day while I'm looking at my hobby and my collection, I'm linking everyone of them to the words he said yesterday. His presentation talked about what to really look for in this plant hobby and how the plant is related to us and the environment related to the 6 senses. Later we met him at the table, he was so nice, gave us some gifts and signed my shirt, time to retire my shirt lol 😆, but I'm so glad this is the highlight of my experience. Thanks @plantcon.intl or organizing the event and invited Doc Block to come. #plantlove #plantlife #plantcollection #plantcon2025 #planthobbyist #docblock #docblockanthurium

Eyleen and I recently visited the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota — a hidden gem that’s both peaceful and inspiring. 🌿✨ We wandered through stunning full-grown plant scapes, admired lush greenery, and enjoyed a delicious meal at their restaurant, which features vegetables grown right on-site. 🥗

One of the highlights was spotting several hoyas wrapped around trees and rocks, many of them in full bloom. 🌸 Unfortunately, their greenhouse is under renovation until the end of 2027, so we’ll have to wait to see that part.

It was a truly refreshing day to slow down, connect with nature, and soak in the beauty all around us. 🌺💚

Had the best time in Miami with my plant people! 🫶🏽🥰 It's incredible how we've formed lifelong friendships through our shared passion for plants. Thanks for making this journey so enjoyable.

Can't wait to catch up again at Plantcon in Dallas this October! 🥂
