Swipe to see the process in reverse of baby’s first relief print (that isn’t an eraser stamp lol)!!

This was my first project for my first art class ever! Lots of firsts, I know. With the exception of a ceramics class I took in high school about five years back, I haven’t actually ever taken any “fine” arts courses! I’ve been really enjoying it and it has been extremely insightful to get down to basics. The prompts for this were randomly selected and we were able to select a noun and adjective to drive the design forward, and the emphasis was on pattern and texture.

Melomania set from last night. Doing deep dives into the music I’ve listened to over the years.

Last night was my final time participating in @hpgalleries Young Blood Showcase (as I soon will be reaching “Unc Status” as I’ve been told the youth say). It has been such a blast and an honor as always to see my work amongst other young artists in town! Thank you to @hollandreno and the amazing team that make this possible! taken in The Holland Project by @ezmelmani

So excited to share that my Etsy is now live!!! I’d love to eventually vend in-person, but I wanted to finally have an online storefront where I could sell my physical work! For the time being it’s all zines, but I’ll eventually expand my inventory. This is a step I’ve been wanting to take for a long while now so I’m thrilled to finally share this news! 🤍

Feels like ArtFight went by so fast this year! Had a lot of fun with digital illustration! Here are some attacks, I’ll post the rest of them another time since they’re oriented vertically! :) First character is by ~Whimphony, the rest are tagged!

Artfight attacks so far! I’m having fun playing around this year! I’ve done one more attack though it’s animated and idk how to put that on here. Tagged all of the characters’ creators on the respective images as they’re all on IG!

I am ~veggiecats on ArtFight if you’d like to be friends! :-)

Tonight’s set list was inspired by Welcome to Nightvale, one of my favorite narrative podcasts (if you know me, you know I love narrative podcasts). Tune in next week for my last episode of Melomania before the end of the semester! Wednesday at 5:00 pm PST.
