Its hard to believe there once was a time before Iphones & photoshop. I took this photo when projections and shooting film was part of my creative process. This photo was taken on slide film as part of a music library series i created with @thicclothing . Nothing is retouched. It reminds me to enjoy the creative process there is so much more to explore in photography than just the Digital World. Im still wondering …Am i still a professional Photographer if I use an Iphone to take your photo ? If i use an Iphone does it lower the value of my work as an artist? Does shooting film make me more of a photographer than if I use my iphone or digital Camera? #creativequandry #filmphotographyvsiphonephotography by @f22studio

Interracial marriage was not legalized in all U.S. states until Loving v. Virginia in 1967 which legalized interracial marriage in all fifty states. Interracial marriage has been internationally protected under the UN’s “The Universal Declaration of Human Rights” which has granted the right to marriage “without any limitation due to race, nationality or religion”, since it was enacted in 1948. Will America ever be a nation where we are not judged by the color of our skin but by the content of our character? How much Love & Acceptance is truly in Our culture and in Our hearts? #iseelovearoundme #lovecomesinallforms #ihopeforabettertomorrow

A Golden Shellback is a title given to a sailor who has crossed the equator and the International Date Line at the same time @karenclairepastore and I are official now! We set sail from San Diego September 30th for 51 Days on a journey to discover the South Pacific on the ship Zandaam . A celebration of My Mom’s life dream , retirement and zest for life we lived life to the fullest and explored every inch of Tahiti , Hawaii. Fiji, Bora Bora , Fakarava, Dravuni, Tonga, American Samoa , Cook Islands and Marquesas . Im so grateful for her and every moment of this trip . I applaud her for never giving up. Bravo for running her own super successful business in textile and design for 40 years. Watching my mom sacrifice everything for our family and doing it with grace love and kindness and creativity the whole way has been a gift. We’ve had a journey together i will never forget . We Seized the Day every moment at sea because we know tomorrow is not promised. I threw heart ache into to the sea said goodbye to ghosts and savored every moment I could. My Dads spirit shined down on us along the way. I saw it with my own eyes . Woman carry the torch. They thread needles weave mats carry the weight of the world they create life they show love. Women unite us so we can carryon.
Wars will come and go empires and politicians will rise and fall but really matters is love respect & human kindness. Abroad there is an Astounding appreciation for elders and its truly awesome. The love people who crossed our path have shown for my Mom is the purest of instinct and respect. Shes a lighthouse of creation and I’ve been truly blessed with this rockstar to ride along with for a life time. Although i made the journey around the world once before this time was so very different. I wasnt trying to runaway from home I was sailing with home. I am so grateful to have the ultimate wing woman to have my back.. Mama you are Golden! Were Golden Shellbacks. Xoxo #iloveyou . #universeexplorer #artistsatsea #mommyandme #happyplace #lifeisbetterontheocean #hollandamerica #legendaryvoyage taken in French Polynesia by @f22studio
