ㅤㅤ 【𝗙𝗔𝗔𝗠 𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟭｜𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 #amshad】 アムシャド・スヌワールは、福岡に暮らす人々が「フロッタージュ（こすり出し）」で写し取った身のまわりの痕跡を集め、一人ひとりの経験や視点が重なる、福岡のまちの姿を表現しました。 展覧会が始まる9月19日までの2週間は、来る日もフロッタージュを切って、貼り付ける日々。 いろいろな方の手を借りながら、みんなで福岡のまちを作り上げていきました。 Photo 1：Kawasaki Ittoku ───────────────────────── Amshad Sunuwar collected traces of everyday surfaces through frottage (rubbing) made by people living in Fukuoka. Bringing together their experiences and perspectives, he created a portrait of the city. For two weeks leading up to the exhibition opening on September 19, our days were filled with cutting and pasting the rubbings. ㅤㅤ 【𝗙𝗔𝗔𝗠 𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲｜𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟰】 8月29日、アムシャド・スヌワールとイアン・ティーとともに、ギャラリーEUREKAで開催された長野櫻子「風景／身体／言葉のあいだ　Between Landscape / Bodies / Languages」展を訪れました。 長野さんは2022年度のFAAM AIRプログラムに参加。2025年度のPAIR × 福岡アジア美術館交流プログラムでは、2026年1月から台湾・高雄市のPier-2 Art Centerに滞在し、制作を行いました。 今回の個展は、台湾で5月から6月に開催されたレジデンス成果展に関連するもので、EUREKAとアートハウス88の2会場で連動して開催されました。 EUREKAでは、水餃子店の双子と交わした言葉や文字、台湾と日本の体操の映像、街で収集した文字によるインスタレーションを展示。言葉の通じない土地で過ごした時間が、長野さんの暮らす福岡でひとつの空間として立ち上がっていました。 @sakurako_nagano @eureka.fukuoka.sasaoka 2名のアーティストにとって、過去のFAAM AIR参加作家の作品に触れる機会となりました。 ※展覧会は9月6日に終了しています。 ｜第1期 滞在アーティスト ハン・ハン @hanghang.one アムシャド・スヌワール @amshad_sunuwar イアン・ティー @ianteestudio ───────────────────────── On August 29, we visited Sakurako Nagano’s exhibition “Between Landscape / Bodies / Languages” at Gallery EUREKA with Amshad Sunuwar and Ian Tee. Nagano participated in the FAAM AIR program in 2022. Through the 2025 PAIR × Fukuoka Asian Art Museum exchange program, she undertook a residency at Pier-2 Art Center in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, beginning in January 2026. This solo exhibition was connected to her residency exhibition held in Taiwan from May to June, and took place across two venues in Fukuoka: EUREKA and Art House 88. At EUREKA, the exhibition brought together words and writing exchanged with twins at a dumpling shop, videos of exercise routines in Taiwan and Japan, and an installation featuring text collected around the city. ㅤㅤ 【𝗙𝗔𝗔𝗠 𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟭｜𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟯 #Ian】 8月18日、イアン・ティーは、福岡県宗像市にある「中村研一・琢二 生家美術館」と占部建設を訪れました。両訪問先は、みぞえ画廊の阿部さんにご紹介いただき、当日もご同行いただきました。@mizoeartgallery_fukuoka 中村研一・琢二 生家美術館は、戦後の洋画壇をけん引した中村研一・琢二兄弟の生家を活用した美術館で、両画家の作品やスケッチなどが公開されています。館内では、中村家のご親族でもある館長の中村嘉彦さんご夫妻にご案内いただき、中村家の家系図や、中村研一と藤田嗣治との交流、幼少期の記録など、さまざまな資料に触れました。 その後、占部建設では、占部会長にお話を伺いました。床の間には、シンガポール（昭南島）を描いた中村研一の作品が飾られ、その周囲には藤田嗣治の作品や浮世絵など、数多くのコレクションが並んでいました。 生家美術館と占部建設の2か所で、作品や資料に触れ、それぞれの方からお話を伺うことで、中村研一への理解を深める機会となりました。 ｜第1期 滞在アーティスト ハン・ハン @hanghang.one アムシャド・スヌワール @amshad_sunuwar イアン・ティー @ianteestudio ────────────────────────── On August 18, Ian Tee visited the Kenichi and Takuji Nakamura Birthplace Museum of Art and Urabe Construction in Munakata, Fukuoka. Both visits were arranged by Abe-san of Mizoe Art Gallery, who also accompanied him. @mizoeartgallery_fukuoka Housed in the Nakamura brothers’ former family home, the museum displays their paintings and sketches. Director Yoshihiko Nakamura and his wife guided Ian through the museum, sharing the Nakamura family tree, Kenichi’s connection with Tsuguharu Foujita, and records from his childhood. At Urabe Construction, Chairman Urabe introduced a wide-ranging collection, including a painting by Kenichi depicting Singapore—then known as Syonan-to—as well as works by Foujita and ukiyo-e prints. ㅤㅤ ㅤㅤ 【𝗙𝗔𝗔𝗠 𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟭｜𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟯 #Ian】 8月、イアン・ティーは、2025年に開催された「東野利夫展（～戦後80年、戦争と医療を考える～）」企画当時の担当学芸員と、現在の学芸員にお話を伺いに、九州大学医学歴史館を訪れました。 展覧会の内容や開催に至った背景、来場者からの反応について伺ったほか、当時の資料や地図を見ながら、戦争と医療をめぐる歴史や、現在の建物とのつながりについてお話しいただきました。 残された資料や場所の記憶に触れ、リサーチを深める貴重な機会となりました。 ｜第1期 滞在アーティスト ハン・ハン @hanghang.one アムシャド・スヌワール @amshad_sunuwar イアン・ティー @ianteestudio ㅤㅤ ㅤㅤ ㅤㅤ In August, Ian Tee visited the Medical Museum of Kyushu University, where he spoke with the curator who had been responsible for the 2025 exhibition "Toshio Tono Exhibition: Reflecting on War and Medicine 80 Years after the End of World War II", as well as a current curator. They discussed the exhibition, the background behind its organization, and visitors’ responses. Looking at historical materials and maps, Ian also learned about the history of war and medicine, and its connections to the buildings that stand there today.
