A few people in my life whose existence i will always celebrate and @gautamiteraiya is one amongst them. I can write so many words for her, but i want to be able to say more by saying little. Celebrating my loved ones and their birthdays has to be my most favourite thing ever. by @facadeofwords

@damagedsolarplexus when i looked at your prompt the first thing that my mind thought was that it found me at the right time. Like no other thing ever has. The prompt is the title itself ofcourse,

The list of things I wish I told you (when you were still here) #plathsarchivesx

When i wanted to stop writing because the reason I wrote poetry isnt here anymore. It is a very difficult feeling to grasp when life screams at you to move on as it does and you feel stuck. Especially when you wonder that the anticipatory grief was there but you least expected it to happen. We keep postponing things. I kept postponing the realisation that someday he won't be here and that someday would be sooner than I thought. It really hit me like a storm, but he taught me to be the eye of it. I miss him, I will always carry a part of him with me. This was so important for me to write that i will write it in the midst of anything, be it my dissertation anxiety spreading across my head. I know things will be coming up to take over my mind, but its 22 days since he is not here. Will never feel like it. by @facadeofwords

🌎 my poem for the FLP poetry exchange.

Thank you @oswaldperez85 for the amazing lines 'With more daylight..'
I was thinking how can I incorporate it within my poem and i had this vision while talking to @elenaspoetry about the heatwave across the world. It almost striked me how we are running on extremes. @nkellyghostwriter0712 @firstlinepoets @cate_mcminn by @facadeofwords

🌎 my flp post for the month @emmajanepoetry @a.a.sunlitpoetry i used the line 'I need to begin again' from your January poem for FLP. I really love where this poem led me to.

And @krystle.writes prompt 'do you think the grass understands why you don't stand so firmly anymore?' #krystleprompts

One thing I know for sure is that i want to write in a way I can speak with my writing like before. Idk what is it with me not being able to write like I want to when academic writing steps its game up. Maybe because it is so tough to bring in academic vocabulary in my essays and then I get burnt out. I hope Masters treats me well, but one thing that will always ground me through this process is for sure my will to be a writer. Always and forever. by @facadeofwords

The feeling that I am having right now is the one that I had been feeling exactly 4 years ago. It keeps eating me up. There is no place I can lay down the anticipatory grief except in poetry. by @facadeofwords

I say this time and again, I love the community aspect of napowrimo. I love it when poets around the world come together and create something. In our case, it's poetry prompts. Every single poet on this post has carefully crafted a prompt for you to use and get inspired by on the occasion of escapril and napowrimo. @a.a.sunlitpoetry Thank you for the opportunity that you gave us to come together for this amazing initiative. Happy napowrimo!!! It's almost the start of April, so have these prompts as an early gift.

Rules and guidelines are basic
Use the tags #aprilpromptcollab and #sunlitprompts
Post it on your story or feed
Tag the creator of the prompt that you are using. It is mentioned on slide 3
Be as creative as you can

Please share this with your poet friends!! And have loads of fun.

All the love. by @facadeofwords
