Watching and working with my youngest sister, Wanda Ashford is always amazing! Anytime she has an event, I show up because she's phenomenal at what she does. Atlanta International Fashion Week (@atlfashionweek) was no different. It was epic, and Wanda and her team of makeup artists didn't disappoint. They slayed every model's face exactly how the designer desired. Wanda ran a tight ship; it was busy and fun at the same time.

Wanda (@facemeinc), thank you for allowing me to be a part of your team. Whether I'm on the team or standing on the sidelines, I'll always be your biggest cheerleader!

Before y’all drag me… 😂 I did NOT say you need makeup to be beautiful.

I said if we’re creating A LOOK, everybody needs to report to work. 😭💄

Hair: PRESENT.
Wardrobe: PRESENT.
Accessories: PRESENT.
Face: “Wait… there was an event?” 😂

Makeup doesn’t have to mean heavy foundation, lashes touching your eyebrows, or contour with its own zip code. Sometimes it’s just polished skin, brows, blush, mascara and a lip.

Almost 30 years in this industry and somehow beauty still finds new rooms — and apparently racetracks 😂 — to take me into. 🏁💄

Hair + makeup at the 2026 NASCAR Quaker State 400 in Atlanta was definitely one for the books.

I had such a great time working with Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jamie McMurray and the rest of the crew, and even got the chance to meet Ryan Blaney — who went on to WIN the race! 🏆🏁

Opportunities like this aren't ordinary, and I never want to become so accustomed to being invited into incredible spaces that I forget what a privilege the invitation is.

Still grateful. Still curious. Still having a REALLY good time doing what I do. ❤️

Everybody sees the polished version.

Sometimes the heaviest seasons are simply the weight of transition.

Growth isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it looks like letting go of what’s familiar, making room for something greater, and trusting the process even when you can’t see the full picture yet.
