WELCOME TO ESI UNPLUGGED! 🔌✨

Unplug from class. Plug into the FUN! 🎉

ESI Unplugged is more than just an event series! Created by Ms. Destiny & Ms. Nzinga, our mission is to bring students from both campuses and all departments together to connect, build community, make memories, and enjoy the ESI experience beyond the classroom!

And yes, you can earn makeup hours while having a GOOD TIME! 👀

🏝️ FIRST STOP: SPA ISLAND!

On October 16th, we kicked things off with our very first event, SPA ISLAND! An evening filled with friendly competition, teamwork, laughter, games, and a little school spirit (without all the schoolwork 😉).

A HUGE thank you to every student who showed up, participated, and brought the energy! Y’all made our first event one to remember, and we’re just getting started!

Special thank you to Ms. Elaine, Ms. Esada, Mz. Wanda & Mr. Nealey for believing in our vision and supporting our first event. We appreciate you!

📸 Got pictures, videos, or content from Spa Island? POST IT & TAG US! We want to see and share all your favorite moments!

Stay connected because there’s so much more to come! 💕

Watching and working with my youngest sister, Wanda Ashford is always amazing! Anytime she has an event, I show up because she's phenomenal at what she does. Atlanta International Fashion Week (@atlfashionweek) was no different. It was epic, and Wanda and her team of makeup artists didn't disappoint. They slayed every model's face exactly how the designer desired. Wanda ran a tight ship; it was busy and fun at the same time.

Wanda (@facemeinc), thank you for allowing me to be a part of your team. Whether I'm on the team or standing on the sidelines, I'll always be your biggest cheerleader!

Funny how God works. I was getting ready to have a sad night, and then my sister, Wanda Ashford - @facemeinc, sent a text inviting me out with her and her friends. ❤️
What I thought was going to be a rough evening turned into a night full of laughter, love, dancing, encouragement, good food, and good vibes. Exactly what I needed.
I don't think Wanda, Coach, and Sierra realize how much they helped me in that moment, but God definitely used them to lift my spirit and get me through a tough time.
So grateful for each of you. Thank you for showing up, being yourselves, and being God's vessels. My heart is full. 🫶🏾✨🙏🏾

Now y’all KNOW I’m in my fitness bag right now… but balance is balance and these cookies were calling my name. 😂🍪

I stopped by @cravecookies.johnscreekga to show some love and had such a great experience. The young ladies working were knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and just genuinely made the whole visit feel good — and THAT matters to me just as much as the product.

And baby… the cookies?! 😮‍💨😂

Supporting businesses that care about both what they serve AND how they treat people will always get my attention.

If you’re in the area, go check them out and tell them Mz. Wanda sent you. 💕🍪

Fitness journey resumes immediately after this commercial break. 😂

Last night was nothing short of inspiring! ✨🌙

I had the amazing opportunity to be a make up artist at the Zara Larsson Makeup Master Class led by the talented Terry at Elaine Sterling, inspired by the beauty and radiance of the Midnight Sun. 🌞✨

As a makeup artist, experiences like these remind me why I love this industry so much time and time again. It was incredible connecting and collaborating with fellow artists, exchanging creative ideas, and learning new techniques that continue to push my artistry to the next level.

Being surrounded by so much talent, creativity, and passion was truly unforgettable. Every class, every collaboration, and every new connection helps me grow not only as a makeup artist but as a creative visionary.

Thank you to everyone who made the evening so special. Here’s to continuing to learn, create, and glow all night! ✨💄🎨

What an incredible experience and milestone in my journey as a makeup artist!

I am honored to have had the opportunity to audition for Ms. Wanda’s Professional Makeup Team at Elaine Sterling Institute and to be selected to participate in our Graduation Fashion Show. Being able to create a holographic makeup look while working alongside talented models, professional makeup artists, and fellow creatives was both exciting and inspiring.

I won’t lie 🥹 I was nervous stepping into this opportunity, but I was also determined to challenge myself, grow, and trust the skills I’ve been developing 💕👑💪🏾. This experience pushed me outside of my comfort zone and reminded me why I fell in love with artistry in the first place.

A special thank you to Ms. Wanda for continuously motivating, encouraging, and pushing me to be better than I was yesterday. Your guidance, support, and belief in my potential have helped me grow both professionally and personally.

I am truly grateful for this opportunity and all of the amazing people I met along the way. This is only the beginning, and I look forward to the many doors, opportunities, and blessings that are still to come.

Here’s to growth, creativity, and trusting the process. ✨🎨💫
