Not every part of recovery gets seen but every step still counts. โค๏ธ

Asking for help. Choosing treatment. Getting through a craving. Carrying naloxone. Learning new ways to cope. Showing up again tomorrow.
Recovery isnโ€™t always one big moment. Sometimes itโ€™s a hundred small decisions that slowly change a life.

Progress matters, even when no one sees it.

One day at practice, I saw Josh on the field alone with a weight vest, a ladder, and cones, perfecting his craft.

For years, I thought I had helped get him on the team. Looking back, Josh was already part of the team. He was waiting for his opportunity.

That memory means even more to me now because Iโ€™ve watched him give that same dedication to other people.

Josh is the founder and CEO of F.A.C.E.S., a mental health and education agency working to bridge the gap between communities and the education system. Heโ€™s a giver, a doer, and someone who has dedicated his life to serving others.

Today, Iโ€™m proud to announce that F.A.C.E.S. is the official mental health provider for All League.

Athletes carry a lot that people never see. The pressure to perform. An injury that changes everything. The loss of a roster spot. The question of who you are when the game ends. Josh understands that support has to be there through all of it, not only when things reach a breaking point.

Through F.A.C.E.S., athletes can access counseling for mental health, performance and mindset, injury and setbacks, and the transition to life after sports. Student-athletes can get support navigating school, sport, family expectations, and recruiting. F.A.C.E.S. also brings broader resources in anger management, voluntary domestic violence counseling, youth substance-use prevention, and psychological services through its licensed partner.

Josh puts it this way: Your experience made you strong, but caring for your mind keeps you that way.
Thatโ€™s the kind of care I want alongside athletes as they build whatโ€™s next.

As part of this partnership, athletes with an All League Elite subscription will receive three counseling sessions with F.A.C.E.S. at no additional cost.

Josh, Iโ€™m grateful we found ourselves on the same team again. This time, we get to help create opportunities for others.

If youโ€™re an athlete who needs support, or you know one who does, reach out through All League. You donโ€™t have to carry it all by yourself. by @faces_edu

Opioid overdose is the leading cause of accidental death in the US. Accidents can happen to anyone.

Narcan works quickly to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Carrying Narcan can save lives.

Suspect an overdose? The person will not wake up, skin feels cold/clammy, is very sleepy or not breathing well?

- Yell, โ€œWake up!โ€
- Gently shake them
- Lay spray, stay

Sometimes the pain you canโ€™t see is the pain that needs the most support. ๐Ÿ’š

Opioid misuse can be connected to stress, trauma, shame, and the need for relief. Thatโ€™s why awareness matters and why compassion can make such a difference.

Choose conversation over judgment. Choose support over silence. ๐Ÿ’›

What we pour into our lives matters. ๐Ÿ’›
Support. Honest conversations. Healthy coping. Connection.

Prevention isnโ€™t always one big moment, itโ€™s the small choices, check-ins, and support systems that help people grow.

When it comes to opioids and fentanyl, awareness can protect a future. ๐ŸŒฑ

As we step into September, the conversation around opioid awareness doesnโ€™t stop. ๐Ÿ’›

Opioid misuse isnโ€™t always easy to recognize. Sometimes what looks like withdrawal, mood changes, or isolation may be connected to pain, stress, trauma, or someone struggling to cope.

Lead with awareness. Respond with compassion. Know the signs. Start the conversation.

Awareness. Compassion. Prevention.
Because seeing whatโ€™s beneath the surface can make a difference.

As August comes to a close, the message still matters. โค๏ธ

Know the risks. Know the signs. Carry naloxone. Start the conversation.

Overdose can affect any family, any age, any community and awareness shouldnโ€™t end with the month.

Prevention, education, and support save lives. Letโ€™s keep the conversation going beyond August.
