Factor Racing heads to the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships in Nannup with six athletes, a season of major victories behind them and one bike at the heart of it all: the Factor ELARA.

Haley Hunter 🇨🇦
Winner of The Rift and runner-up Absa Cape Epic in 2026, Haley Hunter brings a formidable mix of off-road skills, endurance, and resilience to Nannup. Thoughtful and analytical in her approach, the Canadian Olympian and current MTB National Champion, is at her best when the racing gets long and demanding. Her second place at Cape Epic, where she and fellow Factor athlete, Hayley Preen, steadily climbed the standings across eight days of racing, underlined both her consistency and ability to perform on the biggest stages.

Jonas Lindberg 🇩🇰
Twice a UCI Gravel World Series winner in 2026 at 3RIDES Gravel Winterberg and Gravel Tour Hlinsko, Jonas Lindberg is a racer in the purest sense: aggressive, instinctive and happiest when the racing gets hard. A former professional mountain biker who rediscovered competition through the freedom of gravel, the Dane has taken victories at the highest level. His two UCI Gravel World Series wins in 2026 underline just how dangerous Jonas can be when the opportunity presents itself.

Magnus Bak Klaris 🇩🇰
Winner of the 2025 Gravel Earth Series overall and The Rift, Magnus Bak Klaris has established himself as one of the most respected racers in the gravel scene. That reputation extends beyond racing: Magnus is an integral part of Factor’s R&D feedback loop, with his experience and insight contributing to the development of the ELARA. In 2026, his consistency across gravel and road culminated in a commanding solo victory at Gravel Grit ’n Grind, sending him to Nannup with form and confidence.

Winner of the 2025 UCI Gravel World Series, runner-up in 2026 and reigning Oceania Gravel Champion, Nicole Frain arrives at her home World Championships after another remarkable season. Four UCI Gravel World Series victories, at Turnhout, 114 Gravel Race, Wörthersee and Hlinsko, were complemented by wins at RADL GRVL and Heathland Gravel. For the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships in Nannup, FACTOR HOUSE will take over Nannup Brewing Company, creating a home for Factor riders, fans and the wider gravel community in the heart of Nannup.

The programme will include a pre-race shakeout ride on Friday, October 9, giving riders and fans the opportunity to roll out together ahead of the World Championship weekend and experience the roads and atmosphere around Nannup. by @factorbikesaustralia

The bike doesn't care what you've been through. It just moves forward, and so do you.

But here's the non romantic caveat. It doesn't do it for you. You still have to put the effort into the pedals.

After a career spent racing at the highest level, I thought I knew everything the bike had to teach me. Olympics. World Championships. Years of suffering and joy in equal measure.

Twelve months ago @hellenicmountainrace I discovered there is a whole world of riding I had never touched. Different terrain, different pace, different reasons to be out there. A different suffering.

Less podium, more presence.

The bike gave me my career. Then it gave me something quieter and actually just as good. Strength. Resilience. Ridiculous fun. Respect for nature that you can only earn by riding through it. And a global community who gets it without you having to explain a word.

Grateful for all of it. The racing years and the discovery years. Turns out the next chapter rides pretty well too.

As gravel racing continues to professionalise, Factor has gathered together 16 riders who are independent athletes racing on their own terms.

Rather than centralising control through a managed team, Factor has chosen to work with riders who already embody the privateer mindset, racers who value autonomy, engage deeply with their equipment, and understand that responsibility cannot be outsourced.

They are not ambassadors, influencers, or employees. They are competitors and development participants. They are an essential part of Factor bikes’ validation process.
