EXTRA PULP! This weekend, The Factory Theater kicks off Season 32: In Pursuit of Happiness with the world premiere production of RADICAL FUTURES by B.Z. Florida!
Set in a failing bar that serves up glimpses of sci-fi futures, this anthology play is inspired by the pulpy science fiction novels of the 50's and 60's. With shots of Asimov, Le Guin, and Bradbury, mixed with garnishes of Butler and Ellison, and shaken with Wells and Clarke, audiences will get a generous pour of what the next 10, 50, or 1000 years might hold.
Don't miss this radical world premiere production directed by Kayla Menz! Running Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through November 21st. Tickets available at TheFactoryTheater.com! by @factorytheater

SHAKEN, NOT STIRRED! We've got a dream team cast and it's time for you to meet them! First up, our bartender ERIC FREDERICKSON!

Eric Frederickson (he/him/his) got his first shot at The Factory as Dave in 2008’s Ren Faire! A Fistful of Ducats. He’s been hanging around ever since, appearing in ‘Namosaur! (Bigfoot), Fight City (Verne, Steele), Oh Sh#t! It’s Haunted! (Peter Jasonczevik), The HOA (Syd), Kitty James and Destiny’s Trail to Oregon (Ensemble), and Two Out Of Three Falls (King Kong Bruiser). His wife is unreasonably kind to him and his geriatric cat disapproves of his choices.

It’s Overtime at The Factory! Join us for a one-night-only reading of HOMUNCULUS by Andrew Piechota on Thursday, October 22nd at 7:30PM.

Two debt-laden young workers, Ash and Sage, toil in the depths of a decrepit mansion-turned-crypto-mine deep in the woods near the Columbia River Basin, looking after a massive rig of computer servers. They receive food via airdrop, rest in sleeping bags, and are forbidden from contact with the outside world. As they struggle to adapt to the demands of a distant authority, they spiral, each in their own way, toward mysticism and obsession.

There is someone watching them; there is something in the walls; there is something within themselves, aching to be free- here at the intersection of technology, nature, and the occult.

This script was developed, in part, by The Workshop at The Factory Theater! Tickets on sale now at TheFactoryTheater.com!
