Repetition is the father of Learning.

Awareness. Repetition.

Intelligence. Repetition.

Preparation. Repetition.

Sales. Repetition.

Recognition. Repetition.

Growth. Repetition.

It’s simple. Repetition.

One day, one thing you repeated changes everything and getting that one thing requires everything of you. Repetition.

The 6 Months plan, The ₦5m office space, The ₦40k Gym membership, The stack of Books in the Bookshelf. None of it is worth anything in the lack of discipline. I’d tell you for free.

I had dinner with more than 20 versions of myself tonight, they all showed up each year of my life. “16” came in naive with big dreams of playing professional football , “8” came in excited talking about how he now wants to be an architect, “10” came in all excited about starting high school, “19” came in defeated but with new goals, “1 and 2” were all just bubbly being fed by “14” who just learnt about stoicism and couldn’t wait to implement that from the half of his teen years, “7” came in shy to speak because he recently understood he stammers and doesn’t speak as fluent as his other siblings “20” came in exhausted and frustrated by the reality of life and the work needed to get to the life he dreams of , “17” came in laser focused on his football dreams not wanting to touch anything on the table because he eats super clean and trains like an elite athlete “12” was soft and gentle in the corner just wanted to be left alone because of the fear he’d tumble on his words “5” came in with mummy as he didn’t know yet what it was like to leave her side “ 22” came in full of confidence and little achievements under his belt “18” was making big mistakes and understood that it’s all just a learning curve , while me at the door entrance just watched and smiled. Because all of them knew each other but had different stories and nothing in common they could relate to but one. Me.

The journey has never been about quick wins, it’s been about staying real and putting in the work.
