We’re moving to Philadelphia!

Laura begins seminary at @princetonseminary this September!

Leverington Church in Philadelphia has called me to serve as their next pastor. I give thanks to the Pastor Nominating committee and the congregation who prayerfully discerned and unanimously affirmed what God was up to.

The abundant clarity from God led to a deep knowing for both of us. Not only were we joyfully called in this direction by God but also that our time in Superior was done.
S e v e n years in a place is a long time and at the same, not all that much. These years have been a gift not without commingled struggle, learning, and joy. We give thanks for all this community, the woods, and this lake have been for us as we say goodbye. 🌊🌲

Saw friends, collected some art, had some Onsen adventures, thrifted, ate great food, drank incredible coffee, hung out at convenience stores, and met an older Japanese woman who really wanted to take our picture on this bridge in Hatagaya with Fuji San.
