high frequency sine/cosine oscillator going into dual slew limiters, locking into tactile, fragile subharmonics

- circuits we've been playing with on our benches for a long time

- arose out of explorations with 20% More's breadboard; noticed that the OTA chip is sensitive to touch in very particular ways.

The basic idea has been sitting on the shelf for a couple of years now, happy to see it become tangible

These two are becoming fast friends. @vongonelectronics Replay into @fairfieldcircuitry Placeholder. I‘m usually not a huge arpeggio guy but when you dial up the speed and increase the attack, Replay creates lovely sonic washes. And yes, you can use noise as mod source. Placeholder adds beautifully warm modulation, vibrant feedback rings and analog crunch. What a combo, thanks for sending it over, @masdistro. 🌊

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 14TH

Curious to learn how to use effects pedals in your production or DJ setup?

Simone, Lissa and Tony share their experience integrating effect pedals into both live hardware and DJ setups in an informal, hands on workshop.

Mess with fuzzed out bass hits and murky dubs. A good chance to try out some unique original designs including upcoming Fairfield Circuitry products in a friendly setting based on shared experiences. The evening eventually morphs into a blissed out live set by Tony Price. All are welcome, no experience needed.

If cost is a barrier to attend, please reach out to will@rhythm.space with the amount that works for you. We'll never turn someone away due to a lack of funds.

The Rhythm Workshop Series is in partnership with the City of Toronto's Music Office. by @fairfieldcircuitry

Sending impulses and pitch cv to a fuzz-filter type breadboard in this one.

You can do this with a Four Eyes, but the tracking is not volt/octave.

Super tasty nonetheless by @fairfieldcircuitry

Running a guitar into the stretchy pitch bendy vibes of the @zvexeffects Instant LoFi Junkie and then running that into the classic @fairfieldcircuitry Meet Maude Analog Delay is probably the most efficient way to make all your dreams go fully wonky
