Sometimes an escape to nature is the best remedy for burnout/staying sane. I’ve always wanted to visit Tahoe in the fall, so this was a much-welcomed retreat even if the 3 mile hike turned into 12. 😅🤣

Also tried tarp camping for the first time using parts of my hammock camping setup and I think I’m sold! (Still ❤️ hammock camping tho. 🤩) So much less to car (although I should really get a stuff sack for my quilts 🤣)…

A rather-overdue vague recap of our reunion trip to Minnesota/Voyageurs National Park last month! 😊❤️ Where should we head next?!

Yay for chorus parts in @awesomeorchestra!!! I always love when they do video game music + when I found out one of the pieces would be from Expedition 33, I was downnnnnn! 🥖 (Never mind that it was the final boss theme and I haven’t quite finished the game yet bc I’m a side quest queen 😅).

My actual instrument of choice is piano (or was, I really need to practice again 🥲) and I’m very much a just-sing-in-the-shower/car kinda person, so I was equal parts terrified and excited to get to be a soloist for this. 😅 It was so fun though + I love that everyone’s always so supportive and encouraging at these sessions! Thank you for being awesöme! ❤️

I think growing up watching 金庸’s 鵰英雄傅 is probably where my love for historical fiction and magical realism came from. I’ve been wanting to do a hanfu photoshoot ever since then (Song and Ming dynasty styles are my favorite 🤩)!

(Still hoping to go back to China sometime for one of those super fancy photoshoots but in the meantime, this was super fun! 😊)

Thank you so much, @high_wire_photography! 🥰

I haven’t found a fitting top yet, so yay for a modern twist with the butterfly cami I got from @theheadymamawookshop for fire dancing! I love how these turned out!

I’m running off to Mongolia in a couple months for horseback riding archery so this felt like a fun for-now preview. :D!

I figured it might be a good idea to go back to archery at least once this year before heading off to Mongolia to attempt this on horseback… 😅 My plan was once a month at least but so far it’s been twice in the past year+ (thanks a lot, work 🥲).

Today was a lot of fun though—hope to be back soon! 😊

Happy Lunar New Year to all those who celebrate! 🥳🧧 This was my favorite holiday growing up because this is where I’d rack up my allowance/spending money for the year… 😅 (Now that I actually have a job, it’s still one of my favorites because I get to spend time with family and eat delicious nums. 🥰)

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year! ❤️✨ by @fairyburger

Had such an amazing time at the MAPS retreat over the weekend! Getting to dedicate an entire weekend to artistic pursuits with a wonderfully creative/talented group of people whilst also getting the chance to get to hike, stargaze, do yoga, and forest bathe in a beautiful location = magical. 🥰

I (re)learned how to sew and made a bag, learned how to felt and made a capybara, painted a tote bag, carved my own stamps, put together a couple zines, and learned new techniques to fancy up paper for collages! 🤩

Thank you for such a healing weekend + so glad we got to hang out, @pocketpixiestix! ❤️ taken in Caspar, California by @fairyburger
