The very first photos from the stage are here — and FALSE STEPS is already dazzling with Old Hollywood glam, sparkling ballroom twists, and laugh-out-loud comedy. 💃🕺

From the quick-stepping chaos to the screwball charm, these moments capture the heart of a show that proves sometimes the best moves are the ones that go a little sideways.

Swipe to feel the energy, the sequins, and the missteps that make the magic happen.

🎭 Now playing at Theater at St. Clements, NYC.

The "False Steps" team wants to thank you for the support that catapulted a "little" ballroom comedy into the success it became - and the enthusiasm it's generated for what's next!

Thanks to you, this unknown title, this gamble with a new genre, ended up playing sold out performances. We were honored that some of you came two or three times. The feedback you provided inspired and taught us. We listened to what you loved, what you wanted to see changed, what we might try going forward. The result is a re-energized, exciting new version already in the making.

The "False Steps" you'll see next time will be absolutely the same and completely different. (Say that again?) We're keeping the core, the characters, the comedy, the chorus of dancers, and the joy that has always been the play's underbelly. That said, some judicious rewrite is adding flavors and insights that enhance the entire experience.

Next stop: Broadway! We're excited; we're confident that, with your continued support, there will be even more to celebrate.

Thank you again! Theater is always about community. We're so grateful that you are part of ours!

We invite you to please join us on our journey as we continue to post on Instagram, Facebook, and update our website

We wish you a wonderful 2026!
