Instead of making my birthday about what I can receive,
I wanted to make it about what we can give. On December 17th my birthday we’re riding from Montego Bay to Negril for the final major Brake The Psychol ride of 2026.

Jamaica has been a place I’ve traveled to and enjoyed for years. This time, we don’t just want to visit.
We want to REACH BACK.

Through this ride, Brake The Psychol Foundation will be raising funds to create a real impact for people in Jamaica while continuing the mission we’ve carried all year:
Mental Health in Motion.

This isn’t a vacation with bikes.

It’s another reminder that these two wheels can take the mission anywhere. 🌎

Jamaica has given us memories for years.
This time, we want to leave something behind. 🇯🇲

Every ride has taken Brake The Psychol a little further
in distance, in purpose, and in what we
believe this mission can become.

Now, we’re taking it international. 🌎

On December 17th, my birthday
I won’t be going to Jamaica looking for what I can get.
I’ll be getting on a bike thinking about what we can give.

🚴🏾 Montego Bay → Negril

Introducing our next mission:

🇯🇲 REACH BACK, JAMAICA

We’re raising funds with one goal in mind,
to make a real impact for people in Jamaica.
But the mission is simple.

We’ve visited.
We’ve vacationed.
We’ve enjoyed everything this beautiful island has given us.

This time, we’re not just going back.
We’re REACHING BACK.

December 17, 2026.
Montego Bay → Negril.

Mental Health in Motion goes international. 🇯🇲

P.S. There’s a reason this announcement might feel familiar… 👀🌴

Today was special. ✨

We had the opportunity to bring our BREAK THE CYCLE workshop to Rutgers Future Scholars, and an experience it was! Not gonna lie, we were nervous about this one.

But once we got going, the conversations took on a life of their own. The young men were engaged, asking questions, sharing their perspectives, and challenging us to think too. We got so caught up in the dialogue we didn’t even finish the presentation. 😂

We’re learning that sometimes the experiences you’ve lived through are the very things that qualify you to reach someone.

Huge thank you to Dr. Shareyna James and Rutgers Future Scholars for trusting us with this opportunity. Judging by the conversations afterward, this won’t be the last time we cross paths. 🙏🏽

Crazy to think all of this started with
two friends and some bicycles.

Crazy how you can work for something, watch it grow right in front of you and STILL question whether you’re ready when the opportunity actually comes.

We’ve been invited to speak to the Rutgers Future Scholars students this week and I’m not even gonna front, I’ve been nervous about this one. Taking BTP into an academic space is new for us. I know our story, I know what we stand for and I know how much work we’ve put into building this, but somehow my brain still finds a way to ask

“Who am I to be up there?”

I found out there’s a name for that feeling: imposter syndrome.

So this video is really me documenting where my head is BEFORE we walk into that room. No victory speech yet, because we haven’t done it yet. I’m still in the part where I’m trying to remind myself that they called us for a reason.

Friday we find out. 🤞🏾

129 MILES IN ONE DAY. 😮‍💨

It sounded way more fun when we planned it.

THE VICE CITY RIDE — DAY 1 OF 3 🎥

Flagler Beach ➡️ Cocoa Beach.

We left thinking about Miami. By the end of Day 1, we were just trying to make it to the damn hotel.
No support vehicle. No shortcuts. Just two bikes, everything we needed on us, and a promise that we were going to finish what we started.

The views were crazy. The heat was real.
The miles got LONG. & somewhere along the way
this stopped being fun.

But that’s the point.

Mental Health in Motion isn’t about everything feeling good. It’s about learning that when your mind starts telling you that’s enough, you can still find another mile.

DAY 1: 129 MILES ✅

🎬 This is the 3-minute IG cut.
The full 8:44 Day 1 film is LIVE on YouTube now.

DAY 2 coming next

WHO NEEDS $1,000 FOR SCHOOL?! 👀🎓💰

Now that we’ve got your attention.

Brake The Psychol Foundation is proud to announce
the $1,000 BRAKE THE PSYCHOL SCHOLARSHIP.

We’ve spent this year riding hundreds of miles, raising awareness, building partnerships and talking about breaking cycles but impact has to be more than something we talk about. We want to create it.

We’re awarding $1,000 to ONE student who is continuing their education, overcoming barriers and working toward something bigger & this isn’t meant to be a one-time thing. Our goal is to award a Brake The Psychol Scholarship EVERY SEMESTER and grow the opportunity as our Foundation grows. 🙏🏾

🎓 $1,000 Scholarship
🇺🇸 Open nationwide
🏫 College, university, community college & trade/vocational students
📚 Continuing education Spring 2027
💯 Must be in good academic standing
📅 APPLICATION DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 30, 2026
🏆 RECIPIENT ANNOUNCED: DECEMBER 17, 2026

We’re not looking for the “perfect” student.
We want to hear YOUR story.

What have you overcome? What are you working toward? What cycle are you trying to break? And how could $1,000 help you take that next step?

Any barrier can be broken.

Now we want to help somebody break theirs. 🖤

I SAY AYE MON! 🇯🇲😂

Who remembers when I was in that classic episode of The Cosby Show? Bet y’all forgot about this one!

Had to reach back in the archives.
Jamaica has been calling. 🇯🇲

And this time, we’re not just going back.

WE’RE REACHING BACK.

A little over two weeks ago, we rode into Miami.
& almost immediately after, life started life’n.

Back to work. Back to being dads. Broken equipment from the journey. Responsibilities waiting for us at home. Just real life.

So yeah, the content slowed down a little
but the work never did.

Sometimes after accomplishing something big, you don’t even get much time to sit with it before life asks, “what’s next?”

But we can’t forget what just happened.

We put our bikes on the ground in Florida and rode hundreds of miles to Miami with no support vehicle, carrying everything we needed and representing a mission bigger than the ride itself. We did that. 🏁

And while it might look a little quiet right now, trust us
we’re still here. still building. still breaking cycles.

What’s next is already in motion.

“If I don’t stay active, this ride will be a waste.” — Kerb

Somewhere in Florida. 60+ miles in. Sun beating on us. 43 more miles to go. Sometimes the lesson finds you right where you are ,even if that means laying on the side of the road.

This was never just about making it to Miami.

It was about finding out what you’re capable of. Learning to ride your ride. Respecting somebody else’s pace without questioning your own. Taking the break when you need it, getting back up, and continuing forward.

And at the end of all that pain, Kerb remembered why we were doing it in the first place:
to help somebody pay for their semester in college.

That’s when the miles become bigger than us.

“It’s all worth it.”

KERB GOT PULLED OVER FOR SPEEDING 🚨🚴🏾‍♂️💨

Nahhh but fr , Around 1:30AM in Titusville, FL,
we learned the hard way that if you’re riding at night,
you better have your proper bike lights. ✨

We definitely weren’t supposed to still be riding that late
but the Vice City Ride had other plans.

Thankfully it was a respectful exchange
and a good reminder: safety first, always.

Listen, getting stopped while you’re doing something positive hits A LOT different than getting stopped when you know you’re doing something you ain’t got no business doing. IYKYK Peace of mind is priceless.

Lesson learned. Lights on. Back to the ride.🚴🏾‍♂️🌴

400+ miles. 3 days. And every night, a place to recover. 🚴🏾‍♂️💨

After riding 100+ miles in a day, a hot shower, a clean room and a comfortable bed mean EVERYTHING.

From Cocoa Beach, to West Palm, to Hotel Rendale in Miami Beach as the perfect cherry on top 🍒🌴 @iTravelForreal made sure recovery was one less thing we had to worry about.

Thank you for believing in Brake The Psychol
and supporting the journey. 🤝🏾❤️

The miles were ours to ride, but we didn’t ride them alone.
