after a year of answering every question with “6-7,” he’s officially just 7. just 7 😭

beau at 7 is missing teeth & testing rules. fearless one minute, asking mommy to hold him the next. powered almost entirely by apples & nintendo. the most sensitive soul who loves his friends almost as much as he loves donuts.

sometimes life gives you a reminder you don’t forget.

one of my childhood best friends was hit by a drunk driver a few days ago and is in critical condition. stable, but critical. it’s the kind of slap in the face i didn’t know i needed.

so eat the cake. tell your people you love the hell out of them. celebrate everything, because every little thing really is worth celebrating.

carrying this reminder with me into 2026.
