Hands full (overflowing, really), schedule packed, probably reheating the same coffee for the third time… and still somehow making it look easy 🤍

Cheers to the ones who make the world go round🌷

Happy lucky #7 to our biggest little man. Everyone loves you so much and you’ll never understand how cool you are for having your picture on national TV at 6 weeks old. But you’ll always question Dada’s hospital rally beard. @cbates2304

Earlier this summer, I shared my thoughts on Lighthouse Parenting with @theeverymom

This week, I was featured again— this time on Elephant Parenting 🐘

I love being part of these bigger conversations, because they always circle back to what I see every day in my work here in Central Florida: parents just want to know they’re doing enough to help their kids thrive 💛

So tell me..which style feels more like you? Lighthouse, elephant, or somewhere in between?

FEATURED 🎉

Our founder was recently featured as an expert voice in @theeverymom ‘s new article on Lighthouse Parenting—a balanced, intentional approach that encourages confidence, resilience, and connection.

In the article, Farah shares practical guidance on how parents can step back, trust our kids, but still show up as the calm, steady guide they need—especially when life gets messy.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month…but while we’re talking awareness, schools are losing real support.

$1 billion in funding for school-based mental health programs was just cut.

No replacement. No transition plan. Just kids left with fewer resources in a system that was already overwhelmed.

If you’re a parent of a child who’s ever struggled— or an educator trying to support students without enough resources— you already know how critical this support is.

As a school psychologist and current mental health practice owner, I’ve seen these gaps up close. And I couldn’t stay quiet.

I wrote more about it on the blog—part professional, part personal, and all heart.

Today is the day! My official active date, 10 years ago. I started Brittianna J as a side business to a marriage. I never knew it would be my sole income and hold me down for 10 years even after creating a whole other human to provide for. I’ve never focused on money or wealth… I started this business for time, for schedule flexibility, and because it’s never been work to me. It’s allowed me to be a stay at home mom working clients in around nap times. This business has been my therapy, which was much needed. I’ve had hard times, I’m far from perfect, but for as many times as I’ve fallen down in my personal life, I’ve succeeded more in business.

Artistry has allowed me to open a whole Sephora, has taken me on all expenses paid vacations, to 5 star resorts, on private jets, different countries, to teaching a makeup class on the orient express as it traveled through the country my great grandparents came to America from in the early 1900’s. Artistry took 3 generations down, back to their family’s roots. I bet my great grandparents could’ve never fathomed how cool their descendants could be. 😎

I’ve fought hard. Hard enough to make my dreams become reality, and then taught myself to dream bigger. So I can’t even say “I remember when I used to pray for this” because I never imagined I’d make it this far.

Thank you for all of your support, tough love, and for no matter what, always believing in me. Cheers to the first decade of Brittianna J, look at where “it’s just makeup” has brought us!

Thank you for celebrating this month with me!
