What an incredible weekend celebrating the artistry and passion of craft at the @art_in_clay_farnham show! Organised by the talented Anna and @richmillerpots the event brought together an inspiring community of ceramists, from across the country, sharing their creativity and stories through clay.

As a special highlight, the lovely @keithbrymerjones and the cast of The Great Pottery Throw Down 2024 made an appearance adding some extra fun to the occasion. taken in Farnham Craft Town by @farnhamcrafttown

We were incredibly honoured to welcome HRH The Duke of Edinburgh yesterday as we celebrated our landmark 5th anniversary as England’s first World Craft Town.

From the historic kilns of our hosts @thefarnhampottery to the innovative studios at @unicreativearts, the day was a true testament to our heritage, skill, and creativity.

We were also delighted to welcome Professor Aftab Gharda, Regional Director of the World Crafts Council, His visit highlighted exciting global opportunities for our partners and local makers proving that what happens here in our studios resonates far beyond the town borders.

A huge thank you to @farnhamtowncouncil @farnhammaltings @newashgate @worldcraftscouncil and all our partners for making this historic visit possible.

Here’s to the next chapter of making in Farnham! 🏺🛠️🎨

What a night! We gathered at the Yard to launch ‘Fleeting’ by @hermionethomson as part of Farnham Craft Month, and the atmosphere was everything we hoped for. Thank you to everyone who came along, raised a glass and helped us celebrate.

Fleeting is on at the Yard now, so if you haven’t see it yet, there’s still time to come and see it for yourself. taken in The Lion and Lamb Yard by @farnhamcrafttown

Time flies, but craftsmanship is timeless.

Reflecting on 30 years of Festival of Crafts, we met with our exhibitors to talk about their origins and what they were making 30 years ago.

Tools remain, designs may change, skills deepen, but the heart behind the craft stays the same.

Many thanks to @artistcaz Donna Collinson, @sarahtyssen @hayhoe_designs @makeroftinyglassstuff @markveeversjewellery @neiltaylorseats

Festival of Crafts open tomorrow | sun 11 october, 10am
