🍂 🦋🍁🍇 Everywhere I look around me, I see beauty. These strolls in the park are the best time spent with my baby Kinu ♥️ by @farwalikazmi
Three months postpartum, and I finally feel ready to share my beautiful birth story. 🤍 Growing up, I was terrified of childbirth. Even seeing blood could make me faint. When I got pregnant with my first daughter, I remember shivering at my first appointment thinking, “I’m pregnant… but how am I going to get this baby out of me?” Then I met Hafsa @hafsakq - She educated me, gave me knowledge and became my guiding light throughout both pregnancies & childbirths. Every woman needs a Hafsa in their life. ♥️ I went into my first birth wanting to birth without drugs, but towards the very end, I had a weak moment and asked for an epidural. Three years later, pregnant again, I knew I wanted to try again. We moved to the States and I found @twincitiesbirthcenter and it was everything I had ever imagined a birth space could be. This time I wanted to do things differently so I tried hypnobirthing @kghypnobirthing because I knew my biggest challenge last time had been mental. There comes a point in labor where your mind says, “I can’t do this anymore.” I listened to the hypnobirthing audios every night, and the visualisations helped me so much during active labor, especially with opening my body and letting go. The mind is so powerful, and when we learn how to work with it, we can do amazing things. I would 100% recommend Hypnobirthing. Every time I said, I can’t do this, my support people held my hand and told me “You can. You’re already doing it.” This time around I had extra support @heim.kat from my wonderful doula who understood the assignment. I felt so comfortable around her during our first meeting and knew instantly that I wanted her to be my doula. I got asked why did I put myself through the discomforts when we have the drugs available now? 😂 The honest answer is: Because Allah has designed our bodies to do this. I kept listening to Surah Maryam during labor and thinking how He was there for Maryam (A.S), He doesn’t burden a soul more than it can endure. I had a beautiful water birth. I truly felt my pelvis open and my body make way for my baby. (More in the comments) by @farwalikazmi

This Father’s Day, and every day since I lost him, I find myself in gratitude for the values he instilled in me. The value I cherish most is the love for Ahlul Bayt (A.S.) for if I hadn’t been his daughter, I might not have carried this name; something I am really proud of, and I might have lost both this world and the next. So, O Allah, I ask You to bless my father for every good that I have done and will continue to do for the rest of my life. Increase his ranks and make his afterlife beautiful and comfortable. Forgive his sins even if they are as vast as the mountains, for Your mercy has no limits. Let’s say a prayer for all the lost fathers. ❤️‍🩹 by @farwalikazmi

What a year! So many memories & emotions. It was a year of growth, pushing boundaries and making bold decisions. Really proud of myself for achieving whatever (small/big) I could with the support of my people. ♥️ Happy new year. by @farwalikazmi
To my Aditi ♥️ I cherish all the memories we’ve created together, from our crazy college days to everything life has thrown at us since… and I genuinely want to create so many more with you. You are one of the very few friendships I truly value with all my heart. I don’t want us to get nazar because I don’t want to lose you. I love you, and I’m so grateful for you. You’re the best please stay exactly the way you are. You deserve all the happiness in the world and every good thing life has to offer. I’ll always be your cheerleader, always praying for you, always in your corner. Love you. Happy birthday bro 😘♥️ by @farwalikazmi
