I had the opportunity to play on the most accurately tuned sound system in Japan. Pls don't even say Funktion1 or void acoustics is awesome. Because it's not. U need to listen to Taguchi, BigButtAudio and devil acoustics. by @father_obnoxious

STOP BEGGING. START GOVERNING.A Chief Minister is not a king. A politician is not royalty. They are public servants.Some people proudly point to politicians who hand out ₹20,000 or ₹25,000 to those who come asking for help, as if that proves they are generous. But ask a simple question:Why should citizens have to beg for what good governance should have already provided?If a family needs money to survive, that is not a success story. It is evidence that public policy has failed.And where does this "generosity" come from? If public money is misused, if corruption exists, if influence is bought instead of earned, then charity becomes a tool of manipulation rather than justice. A society should never depend on favours from politicians. It should depend on fair laws, transparent institutions, and accountable leadership.Stop voting for faces.Vote for policies.Vote for clean rivers.Vote for healthy forests.Vote for reliable public transport.Vote for quality education.Vote for healthcare.Vote for walkable cities.Vote for sustainable development.Vote for the future of our children.Look around us. Across India, unplanned development is swallowing farmland, rivers, coastlines, forests, and our quality of life. We don't need to copy every trend from other countries. We should learn from what works—whether it comes from Sweden, Japan, Bhutan, Singapore, or anywhere else—and adapt those ideas to India's own culture and strengths.India gave the world profound philosophies about awareness, compassion, and inner discipline. Yet today we are distracted by personality cults, empty symbolism, and endless political theatre. Dev invited me onto a catamaran on the Chapora River. We cruised towards Colvale, and somewhere along the way, time folded back on itself. It reminded me of the days in 2011 when I'd load up a little 22 seater boat with a small generator, my turntables, and a bunch of beautiful misfits. We'd disappear deep into the backwaters, find a quiet spot, anchor down, and let the music play until sunrise.It also brought back memories of my big boat @alzirasomewhere that eventually sank. Strange how places can carry both joy and loss at the same time.I wasn't officially DJing yesterday, but I ended up playing some of my old sets from 2005 and 2007. Having my OG's like Lyndon, Yogi, Hussain, Alison and Roy on board.. The kid made it even more special. Watching people smile, reminisce, and enjoy the music reminded me that some sounds never grow old.For a few hours, it felt like the spirit of those underground river sessions was alive again.Tak-ka-tak... tak-ka-tak!... by @father_obnoxious

Sound System People Understand : Sofia heard that Tristan was playing in Malta and got us on the GL immediately... Around midnight we arrived, and Tristan showed up around the same time. We exchanged hugs, took some photos, and laughed about the Goa connection. I also bumped into Amanda, who used to work with me at Cirrus(Sound Temple) years ago.Then it was time for Tristan to play. I looked at the mid-high speakers and couldn't help myself. They were slightly off... Without talking permission, I quietly repositioned them to what felt like a better angle. Pure instinct... A guy who had played before Tristan was standing nearby. Someone told me he was @a_lautier , the organizer... I walked over and, without even introducing myself, simply said: "I think the sound can be better."He looked at me and replied: "I'm too exausted to understand now. Pls Help me." His honesty made me smile... Yes, he was exhausted from all the hard work to put up such an event in the wilderness. We all know this.. But still conscious enough to understand that I wasn't complaining and that I genuinely wanted to help.. The funny part? He had absolutely no idea who I was...I wasn't there to work...I was on holiday.But once you're a sound-system person, you're never really off duty... So Andreas opened the rack back stage showed me the setup, and together we started tweaking things. Him navigating the digital side, me using my ears and making suggestions... A tiny adjustments later, the system opened up...The music started breathing.I even went over to Tristan and suggested a few EQ tweaks on the dj mixer. A few moments later, Tristan was smiling. The dancefloor was smiling. And that little moment reminded me why I still love this culture after all these years.
