A Little About The Show
At a snowy writing residency somewhere in New England, thrown together with the other artists, Pollie, a playwright on the verge of a breakdown, throws herself into her latest project—a theatrical exploration of a minor plot point in Stephen King’s The Shining.

As she loses herself in her source material, and the snow continues to fall, she and her cohort find themselves playing out a horror story all their own. by @faultline_th

As always, Irons in the Fire readings are free to attend but fill up quickly! Reserve your seat at the link in our bio.

A Little About The Show:
Michael just wants the best for his hometown, Liberty, which has seen hard times. It’s a company town and when the company left a while back, people were devastated. But then an Electric Vehicle company came in and took over the old factory. A plum management job there gave him the chance to do right by his community (and the planet) while doing well for himself in the process. Everything was looking up until a group of outsiders came in and started agitating for a union. Now the whole thing could go bust again. By the time he calls his oldest family friend, Carol, into his office, Michael has made up his mind: in order to do what’s best for everyone, he’s going to have to take matters into his own hands. by @faultline_th

A Little About The Show
A real Missouri resort town flooded over the winter holidays in 1982. During the chaos, groundwater tests revealed that biproducts of Agent Orange had been misused or nefariously repurposed and had been used to treat the dirt roads, poisoning the citizens for years. Fictional evacuees find refuge from this real crisis in a fictional town in a fictional house that seems to be the center of the universe in this Christmas Comedy. by @faultline_th

A Little About TURBO’S
Desperation, desire, and too many drinks to count, Turbo’s follows a group of friends at a bar in rural Kansas as they welcome a new artist to live in residence at the Boyhood Home of the Dead Playwright. Don’t worry about the sound coming from the sink in the middle of the night; that’s just your imagination. A comic-thriller that pays homage to the repressed homosexual playwrights of the last century, and the artists of this era who orient themselves with hope for the future, against all odds. by @faultline_th

A Little About The Show:
One night, after the opening of a successful tragedy for the stage, a group of queer people gather around a dinner table to talk, drink, and give speeches about love. As the evening continues, surprise guests arrive, people fall in love, and old grudges come to light. A contemporary perversion of Plato’s Symposium and an investigation of queer love and its place within the Western canon.
