POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Today we are excited to share the inner and outer gatefold designs for our upcoming double LP for @funknight records, Breathing All Circular, and also reveal the album’s eventual release date of October 30th!! 🗓️ The album will be streaming everywhere, and vinyl copies will likely be available by that date via Funk Night’s website. Should we incur production delays, pre-orders will be live regardless.

The album’s inner and outer gatefolds feature the illustrative work of @tommy2straws with layout work by @fauntempol, and the outer collage is constructed of photographs taken by the inimitable @brittlanden.

Aaand we’ll be releasing one more single in the coming weeks: an A/B pairing featuring plenty of villainy!

All the best,
FT❤️ by @fauntempol

In a Shell (Part II) follows our egg from Part I further down the rabbit hole.

Two new tracks streaming everywhere today, both from our upcoming release for @funknight Breathing All Circular.

Stoopin was inspired in part by the Diane Arbus photograph “Jim Warren’s Famous Monsters Fan Club, Queens, New York, Chapter.”

B-side In a Shell (Part I) is—among other things—about an egg.

2026 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 🔦 Faun Tempol (@fauntempol) make their live debut at The Millennium Center for Phuzz Phest on Friday, April 10, on a stacked bill with Meatbodies, Designer and Find Familiar. Single day and weekend passes are on sale now at PhuzzPhest.com

Faun Tempol is an avante-garde psych-pop project based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Their work embodies the ongoing collaborative collision between multi-instrumentalists Thomas Simpson and Carter Gaj. Their debut double album ‘La Oprika’ represents the sum total of a year spent tinkering with studio textures, rhythmic improvisations, unexpected compositional structures, and dream-bound excursions to fanciful locales.

“With layers of psychedelic instrumentation, ‘La Oprika’ is an ecstatic introductory album for avant-garde Raleigh-based duo Faun Tempol.” — INDY Week taken in The Millennium Center by @fauntempol
