🤎🐎 THE ALIGNMENT COLLECTION | HONEY BROWN “What is meant for me will find me.” Introducing our new Honey Brown fleece set, featuring an oversized zip-up hoodie with matching fleece pants! 🤎🐎 Beautiful new floral embroidery details on the pants, along with a healing affirmation embroidered along the sleeve. This affirmation is one I hold very close to my heart. I think so many of us can relate to trying to force things to happen in our lives, whether it’s relationships, opportunities, or the direction we thought our lives were supposed to go. I’m learning that not everything needs to be chased or forced. Sometimes we just need to trust our own journey, let go of what isn’t meant for us, and make room for what is. 🤎 And maybe this collection can be that reminder for someone you love, too. Whether it’s a Christmas gift for yourself, a friend, or someone navigating their own season of healing, I hope these pieces bring a little comfort and encouragement along the way. 🤎 LAUNCH DETAILS 🐎 📅 Friday, November 6, 2026 ⏰ 12 PM Alberta (ABT) | 11 AM Mountain Standard (MST) | 1 PM Eastern (EST) 🤎 Sizes XS–4XL 📦 READY TO SHIP! Not a pre-order. Shipping begins November 13. 🇨🇦 Canadian Indigenous-owned business! No tariffs on orders shipped within Canada. 🐎 Colourway: Honey Brown 🤎 Model: Fawn Wood Fawn is wearing: XL hoodie + L fleece pants Shop at maskawitehew.com Thank you for continuing to support my little Indigenous-owned business and allowing me to share pieces of my own healing journey through wearable art. 🤎 📸 @noellasteinhauer 💄 @cree.ative_hmua 💇🏽‍♀️ @sasha.caprice.beauty 💃🏽 @fawnwood #Maskawitehew #AlignmentCollection #HoneyBrown #IndigenousFashion #IndigenousOwned ShopCanadian WearableArt by @fawnwood

A few days later, and I’m finally home after travelling east to attend the @dreamcatchercharitable gala , where I was honoured to receive the Arts and Culture Award. I feel so grateful and humbled to be recognized for my work in music, language revitalization, and cultural advocacy. It was an honour to stand alongside so many inspiring recipients doing incredible work in Indigenous communities. Witnessing so much Indigenous excellence in one room was truly a blessing. Thank you to Dreamcatcher Charitable Foundation for this meaningful recognition and for celebrating the importance of arts, culture, music, and language. One of my favourite details was that each recipient received a customized cornhusk doll created to reflect them personally. My little lady came holding a hand drum, making this award even more special to me. I will cherish it for years to come. Our culture is the foundation of who we are, our language carries the voices of our ancestors, and our music keeps those voices alive for generations to come. Mistahi nanaskamon 🤎 by @fawnwood

My parents are both residential school survivors. My mom went to Saint Mary’s in Mission British Columbia and my dad went to Blue Quills in Saint Paul Alberta I am forever grateful that despite being products of those schools My parents raised us deeply rooted in culture in community and instilled pride in who we are and background. I wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for them ….my love for singing my passion for language and culture roots from them and their resilience and strength.. our family has and continues to collectively do the work breaking cycles and intergenerational trauma cycles …. I love both of them and I’m proud of both of them.🧡🧡 by @fawnwood

YOU ASKED… WE LISTENED. ❤️🖤 After SO many messages, comments and emails asking us to bring back our Your Path Is Sacred Hoodies in Black + Red, we’re doing one more limited pre-order run. 🥹 PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A PRE-ORDER. These hoodies are estimated to ship mid-October 2026. This is an estimated timeline — manufacturing timelines can change and shipping delays can happen, so please keep this in mind before ordering. We’re already committed to creating our next collection, but the amount of love for this hoodie has been impossible to ignore. I’m incredibly proud of this piece and truly feel like it’s some of my best work. I always create from the heart, and seeing how deeply Your Path Is Sacred has connected with so many of you means more than I can explain. Healing isn’t linear, and neither is life. Sometimes we question where we’re going, whether we’re making the right choices or if we’re even on the right path. This hoodie was created as a reminder that your path is still sacred, even when you’re unsure where it’s leading you. Keep going. Keep healing. Keep choosing what feels good for your spirit. Trust that what is meant for you will find you along the way. 🖤 Thank you for loving this artwork as much as we do and giving us a reason to bring it back one more time. ❤️🖤 Limited Pre-Order • Black + Red • Estimated shipping mid-October 2026 Your Path Is Sacred www.maskawitehew.com by @fawnwood

Beyond the stage and the following: A raw conversation with Fawn Wood about the realities of sharing your art with the world. In this episode, Dr. Candace Manitopyes connects with Fawn Wood, a celebrated Plains Cree and Salish musician, to discuss the intersection of ancestral traditions, modern digital culture, and the healing power of music. The two women laugh about the weird, small-world connections of the internet and bond over the fact that, despite their public profiles, they’re both just trying to find a bit of genuine peace in an increasingly loud world. Candace and Fawn peel back the layers of what it means to be public figures in a digital age. Fawn opens up about the vulnerability of sharing her music—how it’s a spirit that travels from one soul to another, offering medicine to anyone listening, even those outside their own communities. They get real about the "outrage economy" of social media, admitting that while it used to sting, they’ve both become veterans at protecting their energy. It’s a collective lesson in knowing when to step back, hit the block button, and redirect their focus toward things that actually nurture growth rather than hostility. There’s a refreshing honesty when the talk shifts to the raw, human side of their lives—like needing to blast heavy metal to work through ancestral rage, or simply taking a long drive to let the spirit settle. They bond over the necessity of creating a true sanctuary at home, a safe haven where children can grow up without inheriting the heavy, unspoken baggage of the past. The conversation feels less like an interview and more like a shared commitment to a better future. They circle back to the teaching of living in good relation, acknowledging that while the world can be full of noise and hurt, there’s immense power in choosing kindness and intention. It’s a quiet reminder that their work is built on the hope of paving a path that is just a little bit softer and kinder for the next generation @fawnwood - Listen wherever you listen to you podcasts 🌿 or at relentlessindigenouswoman.ca by @fawnwood
