VERY long overdue post but I am still so excited by the big win from ‘Sentenced by Salt’ at the Nahemi Kodak awards in May. Sentenced by Salt took home Best Cinematography, Best in Brief, then Best Overall, and I am so grateful to have been a part of it! Such a great cast and crew - I am so proud of all of them.

LIFE ALTERED

Here’s some BTS from an on-going shoot I’m doing with the lovely @filmsbymoody! It explores the experiences of parents who have raised neurodiverse children - a lovely topic with such interesting stories. We’ve done 2 shoots so far, and I’m so excited to continue this project.

Had such a great time Running for the RTS West Festival at Bristol Old Vic Theatre last weekend.

It was amazing to see so many talented individuals, local to the South West, celebrating their creativity and specialisms. I’m always amazed at how vibrant Bristol is for creative talent, and it was incredible to witness this first hand.

Had so much fun working on another Kodak 16mm commercial for ‘Action on Salt’. This little film had such a fun concept, and I loved working with such a talented cast and crew to bring it to life!

OVER THE LIMIT

Production Manager.

Some stills from an ‘Action on Salt’ commercial I worked on back in January. The 30 second commercial was shot on 16mm Kodak Film and using an Arriflex SR13. Was such a fun experience working with wacky, short form content, and even more interesting to see the process of shooting with Kodak film.

Beyond thrilled to announce that our lovely little doc from last year, Forget Me Not, has been officially nominated for the RTS West awards as part of the factual category!

This documentary was an absolute pleasure to make, and I can’t wait to revisit all the lovely moments we experienced along the way.

Thank you to @alivegardening once again for allowing us in your beautiful space. We are so excited to see our film screened, alongside many other incredible @uwe_film productions, at the Watershed in March.

Super excited to announce that our short narrative film For The Land is part of the official selection for 2 Short Nights in Exeter! I loved writing this compelling story with @romyblissfilms last year, alongside working with the incredible @helensaundersmodelling

We’re all so excited to see it screened at the Exeter Phoenix next week! Thank you again to all the amazing sponsors who helped us to make this film happen.

GHOSTED

Production Manager.

Had a great first time production managing on my spookiest film to date. ‘Ghosted’ was the first of three films shot back in November, starring the very talented @armaniparis and @tasha.vukovic.

I had such a fun time shooting this film, made even better by my amazing crew. Any challenges we faced provided a great learning experience, and taught us that, where possible - avoid shooting exteriors during very rainy British November! taken in Bristol, United Kingdom by @faysfilming

FOR THE LAND

Writer, Co-DoP, Co-Producer & Colourist.

Over three days in Easter, our crew battled against Storm Noa on the coastal cliffs in Devon to shoot our Narrative film ‘For the Land’!

Written by @romyblissfilms and I, this film explores a solitary woman’s connection with land and sea. I’m so proud of our crew, and the talented @helensaundersmodelling who performed incredibly despite the harsh conditions.

I had such a great time writing and shooting this film, and I can’t wait to start the colour grade in the coming weeks.
