Hey landlubbers! 👋 It's your boy Sailor, and I'm docked at the port of singledom (ba-dum-tss 🎤). Who's ready to recruit a charming swabbie with a personality that's off the charts? 🤩 I'm chillin' with my crew, waiting for the tide to turn and someone to throw me a lifeline (or a treat, let's be real 🐾). As a young buccaneer, I'm stoked to explore this big ol' ocean and find my tribe to help me navigate the choppy waters. If you're looking for a dashing, energetic, and wave-riding companion, then hoist the sails and set course for me! 🚣‍♂️ What's taking you so long? Hit up my crew at freedombridgeanimalrescuenc@gmail.com and let's set sail for adventure! 🎉 by @fbar.nc

Meet Little Weezie, fka Millie Mae, a shining star who rose above adversity! When our amazing fosters stepped in, they ignited a spark of hope in her life, and she blossomed into a beacon of joy! 🌟 At a pre-adoption event, she met Sloane and unbeknownst to Weezie, Sloane had her pup Chili, who was struggling to find her footing at home and was looking for a furry friend for her.
Weezie's infectious spirit and kindness helped Chili break free from fear and discover her true self! 💫 Today, they're an unstoppable duo, inspiring us all with their tale of friendship and perseverance. We're forever grateful to Cameron and her family for believing in Weezie and being her bridge to happily ever after. We are so grateful to Sloane for giving her a second chance. And to Chili, who found her perfect match in Weezie - a reminder that everyone deserves a friend to guide them towards a brighter tomorrow! 🌈

Hey there, party people! 🎉 We're the Oceans 9 crew, minus the heist, plus a whole lot of puppy chaos 🐾! Born on July 17th, we're getting our shots, eating all the snacks, and making our fosters laugh (and occasionally cry 😂). They say we're so cute, it's like we're bribing them with puppy kisses 🐶. Don't worry about the rest, our peeps got our backs (and our vet bills 🙏). So, what's taking you so long? 🤔 Reach out to freedombridgeanimalrescuenc@gmail.com and come meet us! We promise not to drool (too much 😜). Love, Jetty, Minnow, and Sailor 🐾❤️ by @fbar.nc

Hey there, pals! 👋 I'm Maple, the pup who's been on a mission to find my forever home for, um, let's just say a doggone long time 🙃. My foster fam says I'm a breeze to hang out with (aka I'm a total couch potato 🛋️). I'm all about chillin', with occasional bursts of zoomies and tug-of-war seshes with my hoomans. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being the center of attention (who doesn't, am I right? 💁‍♀️), so having a furry BFF in the house 24/7 isn't exactly my jam. I mean, I love playing with pals, but when they're always around, it's like, um, can a pup get some alone time, pls? 😂 You feel me? I'm all about spreading the love, but I need my personal space, too! I'm still wondering why no one wants me... I'm a total charmer, loving every human I meet, and obsessed with belly rubs, sunbathing, and sniffing all the sniffs on our walks 🌞. So, is there a human out there who needs a loyal, loving, and happy BFFF like me? 🐾❤️ by @fbar.nc

Hey party people! 👋 I'm Arlo, and I'm currently living my best life with my BFF @jeffcoltenback for the next 3 weeks 🤩 learning my manners! Meanwhile, my awesome squad is on the hunt for a forever home for me (fingers crossed it's with you, duh! 🤞). If you're looking for a temporary BFF until my forever fam comes along, hit me up at freedombridgeanimalrescuenc@gmail.com 📲. Now, back to my puppy school lessons 📚... wish me luck! 🤞 by @fbar.nc

Some things to consider when thinking about adopting that may be helpful and reduce the potential need to seek re-homes while also helping care for our furry friends as they deserve:
🐹Keep in mind that pups/puppies/cats/kittens/etc need, at minimum, annual vet visits to keep them health. Plan on this expense in advance
🐹What is the cost of spaying or neutering? This is a critical component in managing overpopulation AND the health of your pet
🐹How do you ensure that if they do get lost, that they can find their way back to you? Are they microchipped? Is it current? Do they have a tag with your names/numbers?
🐹Emergencies come up and they are usually costly, so assure you have a reserve in case your furry friend suddenly becomes in need. Perhaps consider pet insurance BEFORE there may be an emergency
🐹Pups/puppies need monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. While you can use topical flea/tick, Heartworm must come from a vet (either as a prescription to be filled at Chewy/Amazon/Costco or at the vet). Heartworm disease is prevalent in warmer climates like our state, so the cost of prevention, although expensive, is much less than the cost of treatment. Never mind the struggles your pup needs to go through while being treated.
🐹Think about training early to prevent future issues. Not every training needs to drain the wallet
🐹Think about any upcoming life changes. How are you going to manage? Moving, having children, becoming ill yourself, etc. Do you have back up plans for your furry friends so they aren't left without a place to call home?
🐹What happens to your pets if you should pass? Do you have a plan for them?
These are all things that need to be considered before you bring a furry friend into your home. They open their hearts to you and will love you ALWAYS!!! The least we can do is to assure that we can not only welcome that love but deserve it!
Just some food for thought.........Shared on behalf of the millions of animals in shelters through no fault of their own....... by @fbar.nc

Hey there, it's me, Arlo! 🤣 The big guy with the even bigger ears! So, I'm hanging out with my homie Jeff, and he's promised to teach me some manners... ! 🙏 I mean, I'm a cool dude, but I can be a bit of a goofball. Jeff's got my back, though - he's got the treats, and I've got the sittin' down part down pat (mostly). 😂 I'm still getting used to this whole 'being a good boy' thing, but I'm determined to become the bestest boy ever! And the cherry on top? Jeff's offering free advice to my future hooman, so I don't get too rambunctious! 🤯 How cool is that?!? So, I've gotta get back to my lessons, but I just wanted to say hi and let everyone know I'm gonna be ready for my furever home soon! 🏠 Who's ready for a furry friend like me? 🐾
Come on' you know you love me already 😉 by @fbar.nc
