Hi, friends! I’m Maple, an athletic, people-focused girl who loves being included in whatever my person is doing.

At 6-years-old, I’m a Lab mix who is playful and fun (tug-ofwar is my fave), I enjoy being outside, and I walk great on a leash. I love belly rubs and back scratches, and while I’m not overly clingy, I’m happy to cuddle when you want me to. I’m easy-going in the house, great in the car, love toys and I have a zest for life!

My story may have started out sad BUT that’s in the past and now I’m enjoying life to its fullest! I won’t let my past dictate my future, so bring on the fun and I will give you my amazing smile and you’ll see the twinkle in my amber eyes! I would love a fenced yard BUT I’m ok if you don’t have one and we can go for walks. I do enjoy well-mannered furry friends (pups) who like to play hard...for a little while at least!

Don’t I sound like a loveable new family member for you? To meet me, call Freedom Bridge Animal Rescue, NC at 843-614-0231 or send an email to freedombridgeanimalrescuenc@gmail.com

💖 J A D A 💖
— are you ready? For your blessings
— are you ready? For your miracle

This is a very special girl!!

After 99 days at the shelter, we have been lucky enough to foster this beautiful specimen.

She is so happy; it’s contagious.

Thank you to @fbar.nc for believing in her and choosing her when there are so many deserving dogs in need. She is so grateful! And thanks to all of the animal lovers who donate to rescue to making funding their needs possible. No one can do this alone!!

Maple raised 11 puppies—but she is still waiting for someone to choose her. 💔
This loving 7-year-old Lab mix is sweet, affectionate, and happiest when she can stay close to her person. She does well with children and other dogs and would thrive with someone who works from home, is retired, or can bring her along.
Maple has spent long enough taking care of everyone else. Now she deserves a family who will take care of her. North Carolina applicants only. Please share her story! 🐾

Petunia is a sweet little love bug who simply needs time to feel safe. 🐾❤️
This young, medium-sized Lab and American Staffordshire Terrier mix can be shy and nervous around unfamiliar people. Once she becomes comfortable, however, her loving personality comes out—and she adores snuggling with the people she trusts!
Petunia is house-trained, spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and friendly with other dogs. She quickly formed a special friendship with another dog named Bianca, and the two have helped each other heal and become more confident.
Petunia needs a patient family who will give her the time, security, and gentle encouragement she deserves. She is available to adopters in New Hanover County, North Carolina, only.
Please share Petunia’s story and help this sweet girl find the loving home where she can continue to blossom! 🌸
