What a powerful 2026 National Be A Teacher Day™! 🍎

Yesterday, National Be A Teacher Day™ sparked a powerful conversation at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., as student leaders representing FCCLA, SkillsUSA, FBLA, and the National FFA Organization took the national stage to answer one critical question:

Who will teach the next generation?

Through personal stories, powerful perspectives, and meaningful discussions about the future of education, these student leaders reminded the nation that the solution to the teacher shortage begins with inspiring today's students.

And the impact extends far beyond Washington, D.C. 🇺🇸

🎉 107 EVENTS AND COUNTING! Schools, organizations, and communities nationwide have joined the movement, more than DOUBLING last year's participation! From classrooms to communities across the country, National Be A Teacher Day™ is creating opportunities to celebrate educators, explore teaching careers, and inspire the next generation.

The celebration may be over, but the movement is just getting started.

🔴 WATCH: Missed the National Press Club event? The full livestream is now available through the link in bio!

To every student who shared their voice, every educator who inspired a future teacher, and every partner and community that joined the movement: THANK YOU. ❤️

Because the future of education depends on the inspiration created today. Every future teacher starts somewhere. Every student inspired brings the next generation one step closer to a brighter future.

Students nationwide, we want to hear from you! 🍎

The National Be A Teacher Day Coalition, led by FCCLA, is gathering feedback from students in grades 6-12 to learn more about how they view careers in education and what influences their interest in the profession.

The survey takes less than five minutes to complete and is open to all students in grades 6-12, whether or not they are an FCCLA Member.

If you are a student, or know a student, please take a few minutes to participate! Whether or not a career in education is something you are personally considering, your perspective matters.

Click the link in our bio to complete the survey, then share this post and encourage other students to participate too!

Learn more about National Be A Teacher Day, make plans to celebrate, and register your event at BeATeacherDay.org!
