What a powerful 2026 National Be A Teacher Day™! 🍎

Yesterday, National Be A Teacher Day™ sparked a powerful conversation at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., as student leaders representing FCCLA, SkillsUSA, FBLA, and the National FFA Organization took the national stage to answer one critical question:

Who will teach the next generation?

Through personal stories, powerful perspectives, and meaningful discussions about the future of education, these student leaders reminded the nation that the solution to the teacher shortage begins with inspiring today's students.

And the impact extends far beyond Washington, D.C. 🇺🇸

🎉 107 EVENTS AND COUNTING! Schools, organizations, and communities nationwide have joined the movement, more than DOUBLING last year's participation! From classrooms to communities across the country, National Be A Teacher Day™ is creating opportunities to celebrate educators, explore teaching careers, and inspire the next generation.

The celebration may be over, but the movement is just getting started.

🔴 WATCH: Missed the National Press Club event? The full livestream is now available through the link in bio!

2026 National Be A Teacher Day was a success!! 🍎✏️

I was honored to join Georgia FCCLA and Kennesaw State University to celebrate what it truly means to be an incredible teacher. We were welcomed by Georgia FCCLA’s State President Kamryn Williams, heard from amazing keynote speakers, and had an inside look at the Bagwell College of Education.

All around America National Be A Teacher Day events took place and showcased the impact that becoming a teacher can have on a students life and on an entire community. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year!

In celebration of National Be a Teacher Day, I had the opportunity to teach three FCS classes about the impact of teaching!

Through hands-on activities and mini-lessons, students explored how teaching is about more than sharing knowledge—it’s about leadership and helping others grow. 🍎📚❤️

National Be a Teacher Day! 🍎

Today is all about celebrating the impact teachers make and encouraging others to experience the rewarding role of teaching!

This morning during my first hour CTE Internship in Hospitality I got the opportunity to step into my advisor, Mr. Dudo’s shoes and help teach the 1-2 class how to make Eggs Benedict! 👨‍🍳🥚

Getting to share what I’ve learned through Hospitality and FCCLA while helping the first year students learn something new was such a fun experience. It gave me a whole new appreciation for the teachers who show up every day to teach, inspire, and lead the next generation!

I had such an amazing time being part of Say Yes to FCS & FCCLA College Day at JMU! It was so exciting to connect with students, lead alongside the Virginia FCCLA State Officers, and lead an activity.

Days like this are such a great reminder of the opportunities FCCLA provides to learn, lead, and explore what the future can hold. I’m so grateful I got to be part of a day filled with leadership, connection, and exciting possibilities! Thank you, JMU and Virginia FCCLA, for an unforgettable College Day! ❤️
