✨I am an educator, a gemini, and your new favorite hypewomxn! Growing up, especially as a daughter of lesbian moms, I was raised to believe that no one should have to limit themselves for anyone. Regardless of adversities, my moms taught me that living one’s truth is paramount. ⁣
⁣
✨This should be obvious, right? But I imagine y’all already know that believing and living this are two different things. I know this because I learned at an early age what it meant to shrink myself, in ways large and small, to appease the insecurities and ignorance of others. ⁣
⁣
✨Through my own work in therapy I’ve been able to unpack how I’ve been conditioned over the years to please others at the expense of living authentically. At this point in my life I’m less concerned with how others perceive me. Instead, I aim to learn from challenges and live and act towards my best self, inspired. ⁣
⁣
✨It is my understanding that we all have the ability to transform our pain into purpose. F*ck That Shit! was born out of these types of transformations. I look forward to seeing how it grows and where we go. Now, say it louder for the people in the back, F*ck that Shit!!

If I could give anyone advice about quitting their job, it’d be this: secure yourself a few part-time gigs before you leap. I can’t tell you how much confidence that gave me.

There was a lot of work happening behind the scenes to prepare for this leap, and I want to share the things that gave me the nudge and the safety to take it.

ANYTHING BUT TEACHING: how I’m making money as a travel advisor ✈️

When I decided to leave teaching, I knew I wasn’t just walking away from a paycheck, I was betting on myself.

but let me be honest: i prepared for this leap. I have an emergency fund that’s helping keep me afloat, and I have other gigs bringing in income while I build what’s next.

I’m not pretending entrepreneurship is all ✨quit your job and follow your dreams✨ with no safety net.

But I also know that travel advising is something I genuinely want to center myself around as an experience designer.

Because I don’t just want to help people book a hotel.

I want to help people create experiences they’ll actually remember.
