It is the LAST DAY to donate to a fundraiser for the @lyrictheatrebridport to ensure they don’t have to close for the winter. They are in desperate need of a new roof and are so close to the target, but really need the support to push them over the line. 🔗 Link in bio and comments. 🔗

@nikikmcc has transformed The Lyric into a beautiful space of creativity, support and collaboration in a time where we so desperately need it. We have seen INCREDIBLE pieces of music and theatre there, it is home to @stuffandnonsensetheatre which @fearofthedonkey tours with regularly. They create insanely good family shows with real integrity, the best of the best! We were also massively supported by Niki and The Lyric to record some Lyric Sessions, which we’re hoping to release in the next couple of years. The acoustics and setting are just so so special, and the personality of the space just adds to any creative project.

It has been home to projects involving Billy Bragg, and @pjharveyofficial recently rehearsed her world tour there. The fundraiser has been publicly endorsed and supported by @olivia_colman_official , and it desperately needs that last push of £8500 to push it over the line today.

If you have any money to spare, every £5 and share will help this amazing cause. PLEASE SUPPORT GRASSROOTS THEATRE, MUSIC AND COMMUNITY 😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩

Lots of love

Our debut album ‘Butterfly Moon’ comes out 2 WEEKS TODAY!!! You can preorder the digital version on Bandcamp - link in bio. We are hoping to have CD’s at our wedding and will have them wherever we gig after the 26/06/26 😍 Let us know if you’d like one!

Butterfly Moon was our original band name. We changed it to Midnight Fyre (a lyric in our song Northern Lights) to reflect the developing sound of our music, but we felt it was only right to honour the name by using it as the title of our first album.

The artwork was created by our INCREDIBLE friend @mischiefinthemaking (aka @frolickedtheatre) who used physical creations along with LED lights and photography to create this image. It looks so amazing 🤩 Thanks Beka!

Our new song ‘How’m I Gonna Know’ is out tomorrow!

Don’t just take our word for it. Our very unbiased friends have described it as ‘a proper bop’, ‘a vibe’, and ‘catchy, bouncy, with sharp vocals’ 😝🎶👌

The song is all about the beauty and sometimes horror of life on a Narrowboat.

Fun fact: Our friends at Bonn Folk Club always laugh at the line ‘I don’t speak your language’ 🤣 🇩🇪

Click on our Linktr.ee/midnightfyre link in bio for all the presaves etc. You can presave our debut album on Bandcamp there also.

OR just type in Midnight Fyre and give us a follow on your streaming platforms (Spotify, tidal, amazonmusic etc). It’ll be there from midnight tonight

We just missed the thunder and hail with this recording, but the swans did come and give their firm disapproval of our music 🦢

We’re both back together on the Narrowboat for June and enjoying the build up to How’m I Gonna Know’s release this Friday 😍

We had the fantastic idea of a way to squeeze us all into the same frame 🤣 It worked quite well! More actual music to come in this setup I reckon.

Ruby understood the assignment. Us, less so 🤣 Also, that red bit on Ash’s head is a huge spider bite 😬 And Gaz’s grey hair is for a show, not from stress 🤣
