Adelaide Climate Action Week (@adl.climate.action.week) is South Australia’s first community-led climate festival — a week-long celebration of climate action, innovation, and connection. Think Adelaide Fringe, but for #climate.

As part of the ACAW ‘26 lineup, @festivalcityadl will deliver ‘Leading Through Crisis: Festivals in a New Climate Era’ — a stimulating gathering on the afternoon of 30 July featuring a group of creative climate leaders and yours truly, Matthew Wright-Simon, from Engage Change.

Book your spot (and your fancy drink inspired by @ozharvestshop) to join the following local legends:
– Alexandra Buzila, Community Engagement Coordinator, @illuminateadelaide
– Beatrice Jeavons (@beajeavons), Co-founder and Impact Manager, @feat.artists
– Hugh Scobie, Sustainability Coordinator, @womadelaide
– Vicki-Jo (VJ) Russell AM (@vickijor_nature.matters), Co-founder and Chair, @naturefestivalsa.

Together, we’ll be exploring what it means to create and deliver festivals in ever‑changing climate environments, and how the sector can adapt, innovate, and lead. We are planning for it to be a really interactive session – questions are welcome!

Tickets to the event at Honeydripper (@honeydripper.mornings) are on sale now. Link in first comment

@limegreenfest Australia’s first battered powered festival, brought to you by our long time supports Oli and Louis Leimbach from @limecordiale

Stoked to be teaming up with these guys for the 5th time now to apply the Solar Slice, which means $1 from every ticket went directly to support community-led responses to the algal bloom with @toxic.surf

Thanks to Solar Slice funding, the crew at Toxic Surf were able to run workshops in schools and regional communities to build sea creature lanterns to honour the marine life lost to the bloom.

Lime Green Festival has showcased what live performance can look like with the planet centre stage and we’re proud to have worked alongside the team to help bring it to life. 🐠💚

Join our free online session - Solar Slice in Action: Funding Climate and Nature on Tour.

Learn how to turn your shows into real climate impact. Hear from Oli Leimbach (@limecordiale), Heidi Lenffer (@feat.artists), and Tim Shiel (@greenmusicau) on how Solar Slice works, and how you can apply it across to your next tour.

“The Solar Slice is one of the simplest and most rewarding things we’ve ever done. Just $1 from every ticket has helped restore rainforests, protect the Great Australian Bight, push a bus company to switch to biodiesel, and tackled South Australia’s algal bloom. A tiny contribution per person has made a massive collective impact.” – Oli Leimbach, Lime Cordiale.

We’re lucky to host Laneway in some of the most beautiful parklands across Australia and New Zealand 🌳

Here’s how we’re looking after these spaces — and how you can get involved on the day: choose public transport, refill your water bottle, sort your waste correctly, and help us leave each site exactly as we found it (or better) 🌏 by @feat.artists

 • Samu Clan from Saibai Island

 • Wiradjuri

A chance to slow down, give back and learn more about the cultural and ecological importance of this special place from Senior Kaurna Man Rob Taylor.

Together, we planted 50 native species and learnt about @treesforlifesa ‘s ongoing regeneration projects supported through the Solar Slice.

This event was generously funded through Harvest Rock’s 2023 Solar Slice, alongside support Trees for Life’s Regent Parrot Project, which helps restore vital habitat for the nationally threatened Regent Parrot.
