Hi there fellow adventurers! This is a quick note to say that as is probably obvious, FWnS is on hiatus. If you're here reading, thanks for sticking around this far into our silence. After a difficult time since our move to Sheffield, we have at long last had a tiny and inexperienced rainbow of a band member join us in July. The little human will be growing up with plenty of music in his life and we hope to one day return with new tunes, perhaps with his input. Until then, we hope our previous work remains on your playlists and your lives are full of creative joy and connection.
Love and rocking wishes,
Sarah, Lloyd and Robin. Hi there fellow adventurers! This is a quick note to say that as is probably obvious, FWnS is on hiatus. General announcement: We know we've been quiet and that we said we had something new in the works, and we still do! However, it's taking a little longer than expected because we also have some other news: FWnS is relocating to Sheffield at the start of August for work reasons. We'll get back to work on our new track for you once we're settled there. Southampton was the birthplace of this band, and we'll always consider it one of our multiple homes. Sarah will continue to maintain the Southampton Rocks and Adelaide Rocks Spotify playlists and would love to hear from any Southampton or Adelaide rock bands with new music. However, obviously she'll also be starting up a Sheffield Rocks list too, so if you know any Sheffield rock bands, tell them to give Sarah a shout! If you're a Southampton connection who'd like to say bye before we go, drop us a message and we'll see if we can squeeze you in to our farewell picnic or pop by something of yours in July.

We're slowly slowly working on something new, and in preparation, we want to try to sort out the "fans also like" on our Spotify. You can help by spinning this playlist of rock and punk for us and sharing it with music loving friends. Link in bio. 🙂

Happy end of a weird year and beginning of possibilities for the next everyone! A big thank you to you all for continuing to listen to our music this year and for your fantastic support for Marionette. We know we've mostly been quiet this year, but we're very proud of the Marionette single and we've also really enjoyed the efforts of bands like @handslikehouses to provide virtual gigs that inspire us.
❤️
A special shout out to @this.is.our.sound @kym_thelocalsa, @dorner_martina, Radio TFSC, @micro_music_soton, @rockhardwithphilandtish, @charliemasonradio, @rock_regeneration, @punkotr, Never Enough Music, @drawingonscars, @wowfmhifi, @zenjuddhism, @cpmusicfoto, @punktastic and the Fletcher and Timmins families for airplay, playlisting, announcements and general support.

Wishing you all a wonderful New Year. ❤️
Love Sarah and Lloyd

We're so happy that you're enjoying Marionette! Unlike in this photo we shall not be chilling with a cuppa but will be working on new things soon as well as working hard to get Marionette to as many ears as possible. Click the link in our bio to give it a spin and help us out!
