Part 2 is Finally Here.

As an Emirati, I have grown up watching Dubai’s food scene evolve into something truly special. This eBook brings together the hidden gems I personally explore places full of culture, stories, and real flavor. If you’re visiting Dubai or living here and want to experience food the local way, this eBook is made for you!

Thank you all so much for the incredible love and feedback on my first ebook. Your messages, screenshots, and reviews from all over the world meant a lot to me!
And because of YOU Part 2 is finally here.

Over the past year, I explored so many new places across Dubai: small family spots, hidden corners of Old Dubai and restaurants that deserve to be seen. Every location in this eBook has been personally chosen by me and now it’s all in one guide.

I received so many beautiful messages from people visiting the UAE for the very first time… they told me this guide helped them discover Dubai in a way they never imagined.

That’s why I created this second ebook to help you explore the real UAE the way I do.

If you love finding real food, real stories and real hidden gems… this guide is for you.

Discover Kiani’s Hidden Gems Part 2 is now available on my website!

Get your ebook from the link in my bio and enjoy exploring Dubai through my eyes.

Thank you always for the support.

‼️ Looking for the Best Biryani in Sharjah?

Today I found one of the most unique biryanis I’ve tried in the UAE.

This place is called Soft Bun in Sharjah. Their specialty is Biryani Pot, inspired by the street food of Delhi.

They only serve a couple of biryanis… and I always love restaurants that focus on doing one thing really well.

One pot is the famous Muradabadi Biryani, and the other is cooked with a rich chicken masala gravy. Both are completely different from the biryanis we’re used to.

What surprised me the most was how light it was. Not oily, not greasy… just fragrant basmati rice, tender chicken, and so much cumin, which is one of my favorite spices. Every bite had a beautiful aroma.

The experience starts before you even eat. The biryani pots are placed right at the entrance, the smell fills the whole street, and the moment they open at 12 PM, people start lining up.

While I was filming, one of the staff told me they have customers who come here twice a day just for this biryani. After trying it I can understand why.

What I also respect is that they don’t seem to care about social media, Google reviews, or even changing the restaurant name. Their focus is simple: fresh ingredients, fresh chicken, and making great biryani every single day.

🎥 The full experience is now on YouTube! We go inside the kitchen, see how they prepare it, and find out if this could be one of the best biryanis in Sharjah.

🇦🇪 Emirati Harees in a Mountain Wedding…

This is how we prepare harees in traditional Emirati weddings.

Fresh lamb is cooked first, then the rich stock with its fat is mixed with wheat and spices. The meat goes back in, and everything slowly cooks together.

Then comes the real technique…
They place it over hot embers no flame, just deep heat cover it, bury it in the ground, and seal it with thick blankets.

It stays like this for 24 hours.

The next day, they open it and start mixing using strong palm sticks, breaking everything down until it becomes smooth, rich, and full of flavor.

Simple ingredients… but the process is something else.

This is not just food this is how weddings are cooked in the mountains.

Full experience on YouTube.

‼️Trying Sri Lankan🇱🇰Chili🌶️and snack

It’s been a while since I had Sri Lankan food and this time I discovered something completely different.
This is Wood Apple a very popular nostalgic Sri Lankan snack.
They crack it open fresh, then mix it with chili, sugar, and salt… sometimes even with raw Sri Lankan chili 🌶️
The taste?

Sweet, spicy, tangy, a little sour all in one bite. Something you don’t expect at all.
What I loved the most this is not a “restaurant dish” this is something many Sri Lankans grew up eating. Real street-style, real memories.

And honestly I’ve never seen this anywhere in UAE before. This place brought something truly special.
As you guys know, I love discovering nostalgic snacks from different cultures because this is where the real story is.
And this one… surprised me.
Now I wanna know from you👇
Have you ever tried Wood Apple before? Would you try this combo?

‼️Looking for authentic Yemeni Restaurant in Dubai

The Full Experience on YouTube. Watch Now🎥

Your Emirati local food guide to Dubai’s best hidden restaurants and street food spots.

I was searching for an authentic Yemeni mandi experience and found this incredible spot in Dubai that truly knows how to cook whole lamb the traditional way.

🐑 The restaurant carefully selects fresh lamb from farms that properly take care of the animals and prepare them with quality and respect. Once you place the order, the lamb is slow cooked with beautiful Yemeni spices until the meat becomes incredibly soft and juicy.

🔥 This is one of those rare restaurants in Dubai that really understands how to prepare whole lamb properly from the seasoning, to the rice, to the cooking technique.

🥩 The lamb shoulder was unbelievably tender, sitting on top of colorful mandi rice full of flavor. Add their fresh tomato sauce, yoghurt mint chutney, and fresh Yemeni bread… and every bite becomes perfect.

👨🏻‍🍳 Perfect place for family gatherings, Eid lunches, and special occasions.

🐑 Full Lamb
Starting around 1,300 AED
(Check directly with the restaurant for updated pricing)

🔥Whole camel meat cooked underground for hours🇦🇪

This is how camel meat is prepared in a traditional Emirati mountain wedding 🇦🇪

For the groom, VIP guests, and special visitors they prepare baby camel, also cooked underground using traditional Emirati techniques.

In the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah, weddings are not just celebrations… they are a full cultural experience.

Here, they cook everything the traditional way underground.

Whole lamb is placed deep in the ground and slow-cooked for 4 to 6 hours… allowing the meat to become incredibly tender and full of flavor.

But what makes this even more special…

The meat is wrapped carefully using natural elements like palm leaves and local herbs from the mountains… giving it a unique flavor you can’t find anywhere else.

And around you, you’ll see massive pots more than 50 filled with rice, meat, and traditional dishes, all prepared for the guests.

Everything here is about generosity, tradition, and respect.

This is not just food this is Emirati 🇦🇪 heritage.
