Ethan escorted his girlfriend, Asia, to her Longleaf School of the Arts Senior Prom last night. It was a fantastic night and they looked great! I'd like to give a BIG shout-out to LaToya of All Crowns Beauty Supply, LLC of Raleigh for dress & tux through their "Say 'YES' to the Dress" Community Prom Attire Giveaway Event, to "Joey" of Before & After barbershop of Raleigh for Ethan's fantastic cut, and to "Andrea" at Magnolia Blooms NC www.magnoliabloomsnc.com located in Holly Springs for the amazing florals prom set.

In-between my daughter's doctor's appointments today, we enjoyed a really nice brunch at the Famous Toastery... the newest addition to my list of favorite places for breakfast. I would definitely like to go back there again for sure... maybe next time with Eric McRay. Thanks to everyone for your prayers for Erica while she was in the hospital. For those who were unaware, Erica's recent gall bladder surgery triggered a Functional Neurological Disorder that caused paralysis, tingling and numbness in her legs and other parts of her body. She was unable to walk and was in the hospital for 3 weeks while receiving several intensive supports to aid in her recovery. We are grateful to God and the skilled healthcare professionals that she has recovered, is doing better now, and did not have to take a medical withdrawal from school. We are believing the worst is behind her, and that her symptoms will not return.

Erica returned to school today, and now has the daunting task of catching up on 3 weeks of college coursework, while staying on track with new assignments. But we know she can do it! Thanks in advance for your continued prayers for Erica! Any words of encouragement you can send Erica's way are greatly appreciated! ❤️

What the strangest feeling! I woke up this morning and looked over at my 20-year-old in her hospital bed. We are in separate beds today, but 20 years ago we shared the same hospital bed. It was in this same hospital, Western Wake Hospital, but over at the Women's Pavillion and Birthing Center in the adjacent wing.

Wow! It doesn't seem like that long ago, Eric and I brought our little baby girl, Erica, home from this same hospital!

Erica's cholecystectomy (gall bladder removal surgery) went well. Now, time for her recovery!

We thank everyone for all of the well wishes, thoughts and prayers we received. ❤️
