It wasn’t until an ovarian cyst ruptured and landed me in the ER that someone finally said the words: “This might be PCOS.”

Suddenly, the chaos made sense.

What didn’t make sense was how long it took to be seen, believed, and understood. My story started where so many of ours do, confused, dismissed, and looking for answers.

From the age of 14, my body felt like a question no one could answer.
Crippling periods stole days of my life, mood swings that didn’t feel like me, and facial hair that made me avoid my reflection.

Every doctor visit left me feeling smaller, unheard… or over-medicated.
I spent thousands chasing symptoms and trying to fix pieces of myself without ever being given the full picture.

That’s where Femigist began.

I’m on a mission to ensure no one else feels unheard. We’re breaking the silence on hormonal health.

When I launched Femigist in 2021, if you told me I'd have nearly 40,000 customers, and grow a community of over 250k women (including Tiktok) and create my own supplement, I would have thought you were crazy. But in truth, this has been nearly 15 years in the making.

Femigist began on TikTok in the midst of the pandemic, born from my own struggle with undiagnosed PCOS. Like many founders whose businesses stem from personal experience, it’s incredibly fulfilling to see my challenges transform into achievements. Products I once created in my kitchen are now being recognized and vetted by the largest beauty retailer in America. S/o to @ultabeauty 🤍✨

In 2024, I took an intentional step back from social media and content creating to redefine what I wanted Femigist to be. I focused on creating the best formulas, hiring the best teams, and doubling down on my mission of empowering every woman to take charge of her hormonal health.

Femigist transforms the way women feel about their bodies by providing plant powered solutions that support our hormonal health. Too often in medical spaces, issues like PCOS, PMS, irregular periods, endometriosis, etc gets overlooked or were just given intimidating prescriptions (that honestly made me feel worse)

I know that was my reality for years, but it doesn't have to be yours. Women should be able to understand and pronounce everything that goes into our bodies (like duh). Women should be able treat their symptoms without someone telling them they're being dramatic (🖕🏽). And women should have safe spaces for us to actually discuss our bodies. "Taboo" is out, REAL is in. Because there's no such thing as TMI 😼
