From Ilara-Mokin to Warsaw.

Yesterday, I stood before Nigeria’s Minister of Interior and handed him a gift box made by my family in Akure, Ondo State. An ankara belt. Aso-oke cap. Ankara bracelets. Ankara earrings.

I told him: these are exports of Ondo State.

Same day, on behalf of the Ondo State Community in Poland, I presented him with the Star Boy of Ondo State Award. Because that is exactly what he is.

This is what BINTAfashion is about. Heritage that travels. Hands that build. A homeland that never leaves you.

Ise loogun ise.

I have been trying to find the words for this since it happened 🙏

Yesterday morning, I walked into a warsaw hotel with officials from the Nigerian Embassy, NIDOP @official_nidop executives and DiasporaEvents @diasporaevents to visit the Super Eagles ahead of yesterday’s Nigeria Vs Poland friendly match.

On behalf of the Nigerian community in Poland, the Embassy presented a BINTA fashion gift box to the NFF chairman and I was given the opportunity to speak directly to him about what BINTA is and what we are building here in Europe.

His response stopped me in my tracks.

He said the Ministry of Culture in Nigeria should be aware of an initiative like this.

I started BINTA one year ago in Warsaw with zero experience, a bag of fabric and a dream to make African heritage wearable everywhere. Today that dream stood in front of the NFF chairman and he received it with open arms.

To my mum whose hands are in every stitch, I am happy you witnessed this.

To everyone who has worn BINTA, shared our posts, supported us, believed before it made sense; you were in that room yesterday too.

We are just getting started 🚀

We took BINTA to the Nigerian Embassy in Warsaw.

On Saturday 18th of July 2026, our CEO @femisewo presented BINTAfashion to Her Excellency Barrister Chioma Priscilla Ohakim, mni, the newly arrived Ambassador Designate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Poland, during her welcome reception at the Nigerian Embassy in Warsaw.

He explained the full meaning of BINTA. Beautiful and Inspiring Nigerian Traditional Attires.

Her Excellency received the BINTA gift box which contained an ADIRE jerseys in the Nigerian flag colours, Ankara bracelets, our reversible double-faced BINTA tote bag and a small Nigerian flag.

She put on the Ankara bracelets immediately.

And then she looked up and said something we will never forget.

“And I am wearing a Nigerian traditional attire too”.

She was. And in that moment, everything BINTA stands for made a complete sense.

Thank you Your Excellency for receiving us with so much warmth and for your blessings on this brand and its mission. We look forward to your tenure and we are with you.

BINTA is a Nigerian export. We are building the first global ready-to-wear brand built on Nigerian heritage fabrics. And we are doing it from Warsaw.

Wear Your Heritage Everywhere. 🌎.

Unboxing something that travelled from Akure all the way to Warsaw.

Inside: pillow cases made for the Embassy of Nigeria in Warsaw, with the embassy’s name stitched right into them.

Every piece started in our workshop in Akure, crossed borders in these boxes, and ended up in the room where Nigeria is represented in Poland every day.

Heritage really does travel.

Thank you to the Embassy for the trust. It was an honour.

See how life moved on so fast in the Portugal camp without Ronaldo… that’s how it will be for you too.

As you’re “killing yourself” over something or someone, make sure it’s not killing you inside as well. Do what fulfills you because at the end of the day, that could be your only reward. Selah.

I am FEMISEWO and there is no another me.

Yesterday was a historic day for every Nigerian in Poland.

Her Excellency Ambassador Chioma Priscilla Ohakim presented her credentials to the Polish President; a proud moment for our community and a powerful statement of Nigeria’s presence in this country.

I visited the embassy to celebrate her with a Dihasa flower 🌺, a rare bloom that only grows in autumn. Because some moments deserve something equally rare and special.

Her Excellency received it with such warmth and grace. I’m truly honored to be in her corner.

Nigeria is well represented in Poland. And we could not be prouder 🙏.

October 1st is just few hours away. Wear Your Heritage with us 🌎.

Why do Nigerians like to talk down on themselves?

P.S: I am not a member of Pastor Jerry’s church nor attend NSPPD but some things need to be said. Let’s learn to celebrate people’s win without caveat.

You called. We answered.

When we launched the BINTA Warsaw Match Edition in June, the community showed up in ways we never expected.

Fans wore our jerseys to the stadium.

The after-party sold out. The jerseys sold out.

Mister and Miss Supranational wore BINTA in Nowy Sacz.

We presented our heritage pieces at the Nigerian Embassy Warsaw.

And then you kept asking. Where are the jerseys? When are they coming back?

So here we are.

Ilèkùn is back!

“The Gateway” hand-dyed ADIRE made in Nigeria. Teal bleeding into white at the horizon. Named for the moment two worlds meet; the same energy Nigeria carried into Independence 66 years ago.

24 pieces only. No other designs. No restock after this.

October 1st is Nigerian Independence Day. There is no better way to wear it.

150 PLN. Order now at bintafashionpl.com or DM us directly 🙏.

Wear Your Heritage Everywhere.
