I almost didn’t go out that night.

New city, new faces and a habit I’m not proud of; finding a quiet corner and waiting for the evening to be over. Making friends has never come easily to me, and walking into a room full of strangers still makes my chest tighten.

But I went, and I wore my BINTA pants.

I hadn’t been inside for ten minutes when someone stopped me. “Where are those from?” Then a second person wanted to feel the fabric. Then a third asked who made them, and I got to say, “My mother, in Nigeria”. I watched their face change when I said it.

I didn’t have to find the courage to start a single conversation. The pants started all of them.

By the end of the night I’d made five friends including two ladies who would love to visit Nigeria. Five people I would never have spoken to if I’d stayed in my corner. I walked home lighter than I had in weeks, and I kept thinking about how a piece of cloth did what I couldn’t.

And it’s not only me, These are friends and customers who took BINTA out for the evening too, to Joeboy live show, Warsaw Fashion Week, parties and nights out. Different rooms, same colour, same first question from a stranger.

That’s what I wish for everyone who wears BINTA. You don’t have to be the loudest person in the room. You only have to walk in as yourself, and let the colour say hello first.

Have you ever made a friend because of something you were wearing? Tell me below 👇

Unboxing something that travelled from Akure all the way to Warsaw.

Inside: pillow cases made for the Embassy of Nigeria in Warsaw, with the embassy’s name stitched right into them.

Every piece started in our workshop in Akure, crossed borders in these boxes, and ended up in the room where Nigeria is represented in Poland every day.

Heritage really does travel.

Thank you to the Embassy for the trust. It was an honour.

You called. We answered.

When we launched the BINTA Warsaw Match Edition in June, the community showed up in ways we never expected.

Fans wore our jerseys to the stadium.

The after-party sold out. The jerseys sold out.

Mister and Miss Supranational wore BINTA in Nowy Sacz.

We presented our heritage pieces at the Nigerian Embassy Warsaw.

And then you kept asking. Where are the jerseys? When are they coming back?

So here we are.

Ilèkùn is back!

“The Gateway” hand-dyed ADIRE made in Nigeria. Teal bleeding into white at the horizon. Named for the moment two worlds meet; the same energy Nigeria carried into Independence 66 years ago.

24 pieces only. No other designs. No restock after this.

October 1st is Nigerian Independence Day. There is no better way to wear it.

150 PLN. Order now at bintafashionpl.com or DM us directly 🙏.

We did not just attend. We dressed the whole room.

At Warsaw’s first ever Yoruba Wedding Experience; Owanbe party, BINTA fashion showed up as the headline fashion sponsor and dressed everyone you see.

The couple in handwoven Aso-oke. The bridesmaids. The groomsmen. The organizers. And every single guest in a cap and gele, all handcrafted in Nigeria by our production team.

63 people. A wedding featuring ‘aanko’ in Warsaw. One night that Warsaw will not forget.

This is what BINTA fashion was built for. Not just clothes. Culture. Identity. The full expression of who we are, worn with pride on foreign soil.

And if you are a couple dreaming of your traditional wedding in full Yoruba Aso-oke right here in Poland, we are ready for you. Wedding Aso-oke is now available for both rent and purchase.

Visit the link in bio or send us a DM to enquire.

The cap does not ask where you are from.

On 29th August 2026, Yoruba men wore their fila with the quiet pride of men who know exactly who they are. And one Polish man put one on for the first time and wore it like he had always known.

That is what culture does when you give it space. It welcomes everyone.

Every cap you see from that night was handcrafted by BINTA fashion for that one unforgettable evening.

The fila is now available to order. 100 PLN. DM us to get yours

You do not have to fly to Nigeria to get married like royalty.

On 29 August 2026, Warsaw witnessed its first ever Yoruba wedding experience (a staged wedding) brought to you by @owanbexperience_pl And BINTA fashion dressed the couple.

Every thread of what you see here was handwoven in Nigeria by our production team. Carried across borders. Brought to Warsaw. Worn with pride.

This is Aso-oke. And it’s now available for rent in Poland.

If you’re a Nigerian couple planning your traditional wedding in Poland, your Aso-oke is ready and waiting. DM us or visit the link in bio to enquire.

Handcrafted in Nigeria. Made for the world 🌎

With gratitude to the entire @owanbexperience_pl family who made this night possible 🙏

Do you know what is the best part about creating something on your own? That you decide when it is enough. We definitely have enough after 3 months of filming.

Remember that nobody is controlling your creative output. We created three different worlds:

🌿 Nature and community — love and comfort
🌬️ Wind and city — pain and confidence
🌊 Water — new life and acceptance

All of them represent my song “2 AM LIST”, which talks about doubts, faith, and finding answers within God. It’s a late-night dialogue between a lost soul and God, who constantly observes you and wants you to talk to Him. Trust that He will answer you, sometimes in a way that is much more beautiful than you could expect. Beauty lies in every area of our existence, and sometimes you have to look a little longer to notice it.
