my contribution for the Sound Perception series on Fade Radio is now online ( l i n k i n b i o )

sonic vibrations from artists I deeply admire resonate with each other, creating a space where sound becomes both narrative and contemplation.

"in trance it" portrays a transit from Tokyo to the remote mountain village of Shirakawa-go (白川郷) and the time spent there.

acting as sonic postcards, these sound collages immerse the listener in the acoustic environments and emotional states the visitor experiences—where the body moves, but the mind lags behind.

Poetry Reading by Luis Karl Börje and placa playing live...downstairs
And up, for the third consecutive year Paul Paulun will be celebrating his birthday week with us! ...playing his recent selections, of course.

I was once asked by a very tepid man want it meant to lead a poetic life?
I looked back at him as if the wall paper had spoken by mistake. I guess for the untrained eye a poetic life is something exotic and dangerous. The great paradox of a poetic life is that is not supposed to be spoken off: everything is supposed to be taken in and felt; one clear morning awakes tremulous and pale eyed looking like a nest fallen thing. I don’t know if the measure of pain is the measure of the artist but oh boy one needs balls to sit and contemplate, and take it in. Now the one who on top of it writes well about the scenes in the garden is an Avis Raris, the person who tells you about a rose garden is a lier, of course, Luis have never been lier. And wherever this disheveled thing might perch when it songs starts, behold a true poet. (words from Andreas Von Plotho)
