It's been some months since I've hosted Maché so I'm excited about this one! The World Cup has shown me how important it is to create community and that's one of my main reasons to continue growing @mache.tx .

My first time going to this event and let me tell you it was incredibly wholesome. To see so many strong women walk down the runway looking gorgeous, each with their own story was a beautiful moment. It's been almost two months since my birthday but that doesn't mean I can't share all the good moments I had. Yes, more posts are coming. But I did want to say a belated thank you to all of the people who shared their time with me, all their beautiful words (I cry every time I remember the sweetest words Gabe said in his speech + those chocolates oooff), to @sojournsatx for opening their doors and making my night so special, to @the.canela.vintage for helping me find the perfect outfit, to mariano for killing it with the music, to jose, roshon, and allegra for taking the coolest content, to all my friends, fam and more for making me the happiest and luckiest. ONE YEAR of Maché🖤 I can't believe it's already been one year, 16 events, so many new faces, new venues, new DJs. I started this project with the main purpose of connecting people in San Antonio, not just between friends, but bars, venues, DJs, artists, and more. You all truly make it happen. Thank you for joining me on this journey and let's keep curating events!

A couple weeks ago I got the chance to attend @texasfashionindustry x @followfelishia workshop on 3D Fashion Tech! As a stem girlie in fashion, these are the kind of events that immediately grab my attention. It was so interesting to see a different use of the same machines and tools I use as an engineer. I've seen this technology on social media, but it was awesome to see that San Antonio has the resources and brilliant people that are more than capable of creating such beautiful pieces, this city truly doesn't fail to surprise me! From 3D printed bags, wearable (and what seem to be quite comfortable) shoes, and even 3D printing on to fabric, I am so excited to keep learning more with my new friends, and open up the possibilities of what we can create together. Also, wouldn't miss the opportunity to throw a fit and catch up with my fashion besties💖

Avant-Ski because snow is not here yet (or ever, gotta love san antonio). But we can still party with @mache.tx as if we were on the slopes.
