Fashion Group International San Antonio is proud to announce Kelly O’Connor as a 2026 Stars of San Antonio Honoree.
On October 10, we will honor Kelly at
Stars of San Antonio with the Excellence in Visual Arts & Cultural Contribution Award, celebrating her nearly two decades of artistic practice and her work across contemporary visual art, museums, galleries, and cultural institutions.

Kelly O’Connor is a San Antonio–born contemporary artist whose work explores memory, popular culture, nostalgia, and the constructed ideals found in American visual culture. Working primarily in collage and site-specific installation, she has developed a distinctive artistic practice in San Antonio for nearly two decades while exhibiting throughout Texas and beyond.

O’Connor earned her BFA in Studio Art from The University of Texas at Austin and later received an MBA from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Her work has been exhibited at institutions including the McNay Art Museum, the San Antonio Museum of Art, Blue Star Contemporary, the Blaffer Art Museum, and Women & Their Work. Her artwork is held in permanent collections including the Ford Foundation in New York, the McNay Art Museum, the San Antonio Museum of Art, and the City of San Antonio.

Her career has also included a longstanding involvement with the Linda Pace Foundation and Ruby City. Beginning her work with artist and philanthropist Linda Pace, O’Connor went on to contribute for years to the stewardship, collections, and communications surrounding Pace’s artistic legacy and the development of Ruby City.
