Summerhill Hydrangeas don’t fade, they hibernate. Autumn has fallen, and winter is coming, so now is the perfect time to cut a few blooms for drying. Here’s how:

1) set the stems in a vase with about two inches of water;
2) keep them out of direct sunlight;
3) leave them be!

(Be very careful not to cut the plant back! Next year’s buds are already starting to grow.)

Now, you’ll have a little piece of summer to carry you through the cold months!
