He explores how images are created, transformed, and interpreted, focusing on how perception, memory, technology, and cultural context influence the meanings we assign to images. “'Las Ruta a Puerto Peñasco' extends the American landscape tradition into the digital age. A reconstruction of a remembered journey between Arizona and Puerto Peñasco, Mexico, the work exists between the still and the moving image. It explores how contemporary technologies reshape our understanding of landscape, place, movement, and memory...As a member of The Biggs Museum of American Art, I’m proud to be included in a major exhibition showcasing artists based in the mid-Atlantic region.
