Today is the day that God decided to bless my parents and the earth with my physical presence. I'm still Jenny from the block, just one year wiser 😊🎉🙏🏾

Grateful for the opportunity to wake up another day and make a difference.

Happy to be at the beach ⛱️ with a beautiful ocean. Not quite Zanzibar, but Aruba will do for now. Lol

Haitian Ladies, WE DID IT AGAIN!

This year, we introduced a new pillar to the Haitian Ladies Networking Weekend, and I could not be more proud!

We officially unveiled and cut the ribbon on a new space dedicated to celebrating and promoting up-and-coming Haitian women authors: the Dr. Solanges Vivens Author’s Corner.

This space is more than a beautiful addition to the Weekend. It is about legacy, opportunity, and making sure that the voices and stories of Haitian women are seen, heard, and remembered.

Selected Haitian women authors will have the opportunity to showcase their books and connect with attendees, much like the Bien Abiye Marketplace provides a platform for Haitian entrepreneurs and creatives.

To the women who helped make this vision a reality: thank you for believing in the power of our women, our stories, and our legacy.

And to the next generation of Haitian women authors: this space is for you. Write your stories. Share your voices. Take your place.

Because when Haitian women come together, we don’t just make things happen we create legacies.

Haitian Ladies, WE DID IT AGAIN! And I have a feeling this is only the beginning.

At Haitian Ladies Weekend, we are making space for the writers who are preserving our culture, helping us understand our experiences, and imagining what comes next.

Jennifer is a former U.S. diplomat and creative entrepreneur whose career has spanned global health work and storytelling across the diaspora.

During HLW, Jennifer will introduce her memoir, The World In My Bones: The Diplomat Queens Made, a clear-eyed account of a life built on service and ambition, and what it means to find yourself again when the structures you trusted fall away.

Exactly one year ago today, my 15½-year USAID career ended along with 9,999 other people... not our choice. A lot has happened since. 💛

Somewhere in the uncertainty, I wrote a book. ✍🏾📖

And now I’m back in Asia, reconnecting with old friends, revisiting meaningful places, and officially declaring this the international leg of my self-made book tour. Cuz why not?! 🌏✈️

A door closed so I’m climbing out the window, still figuring out what's being built on the other side. Time will tell. ✨
