POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
First of many Feunicades zines. This one’s called Grit For The Masses.

Wanted to give some background before the release show this Saturday at @thepeachwpb.

Maybe this will provide some insight, and even spark some curiosity. Maybe it’ll change the way you interact with your surroundings. Maybe you’ll view your surroundings as poetic vehicles/missionaries. Or maybe you’ll hate it, but that’s interesting too.

Come check out the event I curated for the release this Saturday night. The flyer and set times are at the end of this post 💭

no coincidence that I happened to be listening to this album just yesterday without knowing today would be the beloved Nick Drake’s birthday. I love this album. I I love the tender way in which his soft and vulnerable voice sweeps through the gloominess of his guitar. I love the sensitivity of a poetic spirit; only wish they’d stick around to see life through. by @feunica

I took this photo in the summer of 2009, in Mexico, with my first camera. I was just a kid, in awe of such a tender and soulful performance.

I am now a young woman - one who has long yearned for the open arms my country has extended to me, since the day I left its vibrant land of marigold. I feel I must honor all Mexico has given me - a sense of spirit, something I find sorely lacking in America these days.

Spare yourself the entanglement, and hear me for my honesty.

I pray that the war within the wounded man finds a different platform.
Even if it doesn’t, I will continue to fill my life with a diversity of colors -
and be a friend to my neighbors.

That’s what honor is.
A diversity of colors.
Not a stripping of them.

Here’s something I was inspired to create with the emotive support of this soulful memory.

“Coatlicue is an important goddess from Aztec mythology, representing the earth, fertility, life, and death. Often portrayed with a skirt made of serpents and a necklace crafted from human hearts and hands, she symbolizes creation and destruction simultaneously.”

“The 2.52-meter (8.3-foot) tall andesite sculpture of the Aztec goddess Coatlicue, created in the 15th century AD, is currently on display at the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico.”

There is doubt and there is life.
I’ve been learning about both, and what they mean to me. How I want to approach them vs how I actually do approach them. So, it makes all the sense in the world that humans must put their faith in something. Nature reminds me to embrace that. Tree friends dig into me and pull out the gratitude, even during the ugliest funks and versions of myself. That’s all. Enjoy the green ✨ taken in Georgia by @feunica

Hi, I’ve made a website ⭐️

This site houses past, current, and future projects - from visuals and publications to music and events. It will continue to grow, reflecting anything I’ve worked on or had the honor of playing a role in. Entity Involved was born during my college years, and after a few years, I’ve chosen to revive and renew it. It embodies a force rooted deep within an ethos of involvement, experimentation, and collaboration. It speaks for my my commitment to creating and connecting with others. Link in bio. Take a look around 🕯️
