Not too long ago I got my hands on my first square format TLR camera (a Yashica-D blessed to me by @spenc.e) ✨

And here are the frames from the first roll back! The lens only opens up to about f/3.5, but there is still some crazy separation from the background which I am in love with!
Lens is super crisp too, definitely my new fave piece 📷 🎞️

(p.s. today is Leosporin’s 8th Börkday, and he’s starting to get slightly gray eyebrows + goatee 🥺 🐕)

Amazing evening.

I chip away at blocks of stone
As much as God will allow
To slowly uncover what lies Beneath
The land of flesh in fragments
An offer to the altar of impermanence
More than these lips you often see
Hiding behind rocky surfaces
Those that haunt your heart
Join with me a nameless wonder
A word is a word
But I know you see
The Transluscent Seed
In every set of Golden Eye

ps - this will be in the upcoming zine

Eden In The Dark is making another appearance on Friday, July 14th 🪽

A night of many faces such as Post-Punk, New Wave, New Romantic, Italo, Synth Pop, Dark Electro/Wave, and Industrial.

Ever since I can remember, Zaii and I have talked about our frustrations regarding music communion in South Florida, and what feels like lack of enthusiasm towards the new and unusual.
We’ve spent countless car rides blasting whatever we’ve been newly obsessed with ~ and have found movement in this process. Our surroundings began to feel repetitive and gimmicky. While tradition is something we value, we yearn to experience diversity; a community that encourages curiosity. Hence the name, “Eden In The Dark”.

Join us as we play a grand mix of our current favorites ~ the old, the new, and some secret third thing. Flowers are encouraged 🪻

Update: 11PM, No cover, 21+
