When you send @shifty71 some questions for the Q&A part of his #shredwithshifty vodcast… not expecting him to answer them 😅 Great advice! Honestly made my day 🥰 posting it on here as well as on my story as I feel like his advice not only applies to me , but to other musicians who might’ve had similar experiences ❤️

I’m not gonna lie I teared up the first time I watched this, I get more positive than negative feedback in general but some of you who know me/ have followed me on here for a while will know I’ve had problems out busking in the past … ranging from someone throwing water over me and my gear last summer to people saying awful things about me/ my singing/ playing etc to my face / leaving nasty comments online.

I don’t listen to people like that anymore because I realised not everyone is gonna like you / what you’re doing and that’s ok . Like Chris said you’ve got to forget people like that, follow your heart and do what makes you happy. Music is my life , it’s the one thing I really enjoy doing I can’t ever imagine myself not doing it … if anything all the bad experiences I’ve had have made me more resilient and more determined to carry on and prove a point

Thank you for taking the time to answer both of my questions Chris , it really means a lot ❤️

Just when I thought last night couldn’t get any better , we met the whole band after the show 🤯 (Patty recognised me again 😂☺️)

They’re all so lovely! I showed Kelly my @stereophonicsofficial Fly Like An Eagle inspired tattoo and he loved it! Had a nice chat with both him and Richard about gigging and busking too! Honestly year made 🥰

Took Bowie for a walk round Llangollen the other day and met a photographer who offered to take a picture of us! Love it 🥰

Say It to Me Now — @glenhansard 🤍🕊️

I first discovered Glen’s music around the time I was studying Music GCSE back in 2015, and fell in love with Once and his songwriting. This has always been one of my favourite songs of his — I’ve wanted to cover it for a long time

He’s arguably one of the greatest songwriters of his generation — extremely talented, hardworking, and seemed like such a genuinely lovely person

His passing is such a huge loss to the music world, but what an incredible legacy he leaves behind!

I hope I’ve done his song justice 🤍
